That was awesome! I loved the way Arthur pieced everything together.

The nature of human fears is wonderfully phrased here. I admire your way with words. Merlin's speech was one of my favorite, when it comes to magic reveal fics.

This was beautiful and I love how you had Arthur work through his issues for one part of the reveal but still have some issues once he had the magic reveal. Seeing Merlin's feelings as he struggled to go through this and deal with his worry about Arthur hating/abandoning him was amazing. Thanks for doing this and good luck with future endeavors.

This is a really powerful and touching fic. Arthur might be a little OOC, though I think it is for the best for the circumstances of this story. I like your Arthur much better than Canon anyway. He's sensible and not ignorant and actually being a good friend to Merlin. Merlin shines in this fic too. Being proud of who he is and actually making the decision of letting Arthur know, it speaks of such depths of emotional courage. The only problem I have with this fic is that the dialogue feels a little forced and unnatural; I have some trouble actually visualizing the characters saying them. But other than that, great work! I enjoyed reading it :)

Well, that was certainly different. I have to admit I am impressed that Arthur was capable of deducing Merlin's secrets on his own. I honestly think I find this version of the reveal more likely than in "Only a Friend". This one had Arthur figuring things out on his own, in his own time, and confronting Merlin on his own. I think this is a much more likely scenario and I really enjoyed both the disbelief and acceptance he displayed. Thank you for the read! KTN

Merlin's speech was beautiful and powerful. I tend to like fics where Arthur finally opens his eyes and realizes what's going on around him. Hard to believe he'd not realize something in all those years.
