I will probably write a more extensive,more damning review later on, but this last chapter excels in its ability to anger me. In your previous duels, you at least entertained some semblance of parity in terms of skill - the fights went back and forth, to and fro. This last “duel” against Rider serves only to jerk off your fetish’s on bashing religion.

The fact is, your choice of servant, your choice of master, and your choice of wording was built purposefully so that you could have a “checkmate Christians” moment. The fact is that everything the EoM said is entirely OoC and immature. Even reading The Last Church, you see that in the face of religion, the Emperor is a logical figure, with a hint of impatience -not some troll. You write him as arrogant as Gilgamesh. Further, your writing of Rider leaves much to be desired -he is a one-note, shallow character that’s as flat as Saber’s chest. Even Crusaders are dynamic characters to write; they are human after all, and possess human emotions and desires and guilts. This is simply a charicature.

Overall I’m terribly disappointed.

Maybe a dream of what revelation saw men done in the name of religion? Saber died before the crusades , so the dreams can show her that.

Late thoughts.
1. This chapter made me, the end of the fight and fight betwen Saber and Revelation and the point when Revelation was thinking of human emotions, hope for one of the His/Emperors Saints to show up and have a talk with Him.
For some reason, thinking of The First Saint (as for I know): Euphrati Keeler (the one who even made a Primarch, Rogal Dorn, pause), she and Him have the same kind of talk wich she had with Nathaniel Garro in book "The Flight of the Eisenstein". (Revelation needs help and, irony, one of His Saints help Him to find Faith again.)
Its proboly not gona happen, just a thought I wanted to share.
2. That said, this also kinda make me wish for memory scenes.
