I wanted to check out your work, after our discussion earlier. Is that a Brutus reference there, with the unarmed man? If not, still cool. It's interesting that she's tied to the sun; I guess that makes some sense given the flower's source. Cool last line.

One thing I did notice: you wrote "boarders" instead of "borders." "Boarders" are people who live in your house and pay you rent. :D Other than that, great story.

I'm playing around with this idea as well, writing the story now. The way you wrote this, it's amazing. I hope you don't mind if I take some inspiration from it.

This was truly, hauntingly beautiful. I had never thought of this before, the possibility of her not being able to die, but you brought this to life in such a sad way...thank you. I loved it. You made me cry (it's a good thing, trust me).

Great story, depressing, but I had a similar idea once, though mine wasn't quite so. . . dour, still a great story. I totally had the ending pegged.
