That was very interesting. Is this an actual crossover with stories like the Wheel of Time and the Dresden Files, or do the various things mentioned, balefire, the White Court of Vampires, etc just show up as extras for your story?

That was freaking awesome! And that bar of molten power that Harry cast was from The Wheel of Time. Given enough power, it tears the thing it destroys out of time and undoes whatever it has done. Wonderful story.

That was wonderful. I am going to miss having Harry at Hogwarts, but Hermione was just splendid in this chapter. And your OC is pretty cool, too.

This was a great start! I really enjoyed the battle between James and Voldemort. And his vow at the end... wonderful.

This is an engaging and well written piece. Normally such a wide scale re-imagining of cannon tends to fall flat, in this case however it has been done beautifully. You have managed to bring life and realism to your characters, and done so in a fabulously gritty and down to earth way that is very rare in the Harry Potter fandom. Indeed it's rather rare in the fantasy genre as a whole! Other positives include well fleshed out 'good' characters, an excellently devised grand scheme, and a Hermione sorted to where she bloody well ought to be.

On the negative side, the whole phoenix animagus and Atlantean nonsense actually degrades what is otherwise an brilliant plot and story. Both are completely unnecessary, and painfully overused, additions. Aside from that, while your portrayal of the 'good guys' is fantastic, so far your portrayal of the 'bad guys' is flat and uninteresting. Lucious and Narcissa are particularly bland, Snape isn't much better. Draco is actually the best of the 'bad guys' with his obsession with Karina, but even he is a little cliche and bland overall.

Please understand, I really am enjoying the story, and I'm not trying to 'flame' you or anything else of the sort. The Positive/Negative methodology I used in my reviews is merely meant to be honest, rather than derogatory! Looking forward to more!

P.S. One additional note. Not sure whey you have Hermione listed as one of the filter characters. She has barely been in the story. Unless it's an indication of the pairing your intending on using, which I hope it isn't. Can't stand that particular pairing, and it's overdone besides.

honestly after all the great work you've put in to all the other chapters this one was very very... well lacking in everything!
