That was very touching and beautiful and heartbreaking! Poor Levi, Eren was allowed to grieve but he wasn't. Must've been awful not being able to express your pain and misery. Here's to hoping Levi and Petra have a happy ending in the after :)

Oh gosh, that was heartbreaking :'( And I don't even ship this two (I kind of wanted to when watching the anime but was too wary after the bloodbath in Trost; alas I was proven right). I think you've captured Levi and all his emotions wonderfully and I liked the reference to rank a lot. He doesn't show much emotion throughout the anime and manga (even though the writers somehow made that build his character even more) so this was a hard feat you've managed to pull. Very very well written and thanks for sharing! :D

I know that this was written a while back, but I want to express how wonderful I think this work is. Out of all the sad/angsty/tragic fanfiction involving Levi handling his squad's and Petra's death, I would say that, by far, your take was one of the best. I feel you handled Levi's emotions and feelings very well without getting him OOC, which I know must be difficult for many authors to do (as Levi is a pretty complicated character - well, at least I think). So, I really commend you with that. And not only that, my heart was really struck hard - especially when reading the last part of Petra's letter to Levi. Oh, the feels... it hurts! :(

Anyways, awesome work! If you ever decide to write another Levi/Petra fanfic, I'll definitely be sure to read it :D
