This was an awesome story. you're a tremendous writer and I love all your NCIS stories. I don't know how you do it, I can't even write a review without deleting and rewriting it.
I love the two epilogues, it wraps up the story well.

I read the last chapter with tears in my eyes; your writing is beautiful, the emotions your words stir up are many and as I worked through the story.

This has to be one of the best pieces of writing I have had the pleasure to read, beautifully paced and obviously constructed after research and careful considerations of both cannon and your fanfiction.

I look forward to reading more if your work, thank you so much for creating a world I can shelter in.

I have written before to thank you for sharing your talents with me. I finished those stories you have posted on Archive of Our Own, and I hopefully let you know how much I enjoyed them. This story was HUGE. I appreciate the two years you put into this, your blood, sweat and tears. wow can I say what a story at first I was surprised on how you treated gibbs sending him to prison stripping his medals dishonorable discharge being a marine was everything to gibbs it gave him pride than you saddle him with pancreatic cancer and kill him off I usually don't read character deaths fanfics but I see what you were doing all of that really brings what the story is all about how people get so far in there head with grief that they want revenge for a family members death and the way it can take over every aspect of your life and there is consequences for your actions it was a really well written story I loved that regardless he was still accepted and cared for before his death and playing the music and keeping vigil loved the song choices especially desperado so fitting thanks for sharing this wonderful masterpiece

Hi! I, really, like your story! She did not have the "Happy forever", but life does not have it, does she? I agree with you that Gibbs would never regret or apologize for the mistakes he made, he's too arrogant for that. My favorite character on the show was always Tony, Michael Weatherly did a great job with this character, since they seemed to want to make it just the comic relief, with everyone having fun at his expense. And that's why my second favorite is Palmer, he was a good friend to Tony, in the period that Gibbs went to Mexico. So this story really tickled me, was focused on Tony and narrated by Jimmy! Perfect!
Congratulations on the story! I only read it now, after it's finished, so I did not comment. Ah! I also liked the characters you created, the conversations of the Australians were a lot of fun.

So now we know who taught Ziva all of those wrong phrases.
