  Pink Pepsi chapter 55 . 7/13 Omg Pony just died and now I’m sobbing. I started reading this, thinking ‘oh, there’s 61 chapters! Ponyboy will recover!’ Then through the entire thing, I was like ‘He’ll some how, miraculously recover.’ And then he died. I usually hate reading Ponyboy death fanfics but this was really well written. I hate the fact that he had to die but it was an amazing story! You are a really talented writer! |
 alderfur chapter 61 . 5/1 i've come back to read this again and i don't think anything hurts quite as bad as darry telling ponyboy he can go, all the while listening to sodapop shrieking for him to stay. god, i've been through this in real life but you've managed to capture it so well within your writing. i have this story permanently open on my phone. the line, "it was what he died for" always gets me. i start crying every time i hear ponyboy speak his last words. then it all blows to shit. but god, i just want you to know what this story means to me. apparently this story hits even harder at 3:30 am. |
| Silverrock22 chapter 61 . 1/30 To this day, this is still the best Outsiders fanfic ever written. It takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and it is just as good as S.E Hinton herself. Thanks for sharing this wonderful, heart wrenching, tear jerking book. Yeah book. It was so good, I don't even want to call it a fanfiction. You made me cry multiple times. You made me smile. You even made me laugh. Those are the things I love in a book, and you gave me all of them. Thank you for keeping the characters, well, in character. Darry, Steve, Soda, Two-Bit, even Ponyboy were all in character. I also love how you switched point of view. It really gave me a while new perspective ever chapter.
