I really wish that you would return to this site, and write another awesome story. 95% percent of all fan-fiction is pure shit. But you are the exception.

Your story was awesome. I wish there were more writers like you on this site, who could write a cool story that stays somewhat faithful to the original, and also quite entertaining to boot. Oh and of course, it's great that you could finish this story, a lot of folks are too lazy to end what they had begun.

I don't know if Gillie21 is still active here, and I doubt you're reading this, but I'll let you know that this story was awesome. You should consider becoming a professional writer.

It recreated the show pretty well (besides you aging it up a bit into TV-PG territory, what with the guns and alcohol, LOL), and of course there's plenty of well-written action and adventure here.

It also avoided those annoying fanfiction cliches - like an OC protagonist stealing the spotlight from the canon protagonist, or a boring and unnecessary romance subplot.

Ha ha, alcohol, definitely something they couldn't get away with on a kid's show.

Ah, gangsters pointing guns at the heroes? But since this was a Saturday morning cartoon, the censors wouldn't let them get away with that most of the time.

This story is very good so far. It reads like a novelization of an episode from the show.

Already read the first chapter. It was good, the fight scene turned out very great.

Technically, Jade's parents are Jackie's cousins, not his brother and sister-in-law. She just calls him Uncle Jackie because he's one of her cousins once removed.

And it is over. At least I think it is. Unless you are planning an epilogue for next chapter. Or even better a sequel to this one.

It was a good chapter and a memorable final fight. It reminded me a little of Dragon Ball fights (and those were more or less based on chi techniques principles not to mention chi mysticism even if exagerated, especially Dragon Ball Z) and it did gave an interesting fight with just Jackie and the main Bad guy. I dont quite remember to something similar to ever happened before (except perhaps at the end of season 5 but it was still Bad Guy versus Bad Guy, Shendu versus Drago who was more or less even between each of them). Now someone getting all the powers is not that unseen, the Talismans to either Shendu or Jade, not to mention Drago with all the Chi.

A pit about the bad guys, but in this story it kind remembers the actual show and how most seasons end anyway (again except season 5). Still it would be cool to have a scene between the bickering Valmount and Adrian, now that would be hilarious to read.

Adrian reminded me a little of Nerissa of WITCH, particullary his crave for power and believe that he should rule the world. Then again so Dr. Doom on Marvel and many other fictional villains bent on world domination. Some can actually be more undestood like Nerissa that I mentioned and Magneto for example (more than power to himself he sees as the whole mutant race as the masters of the world). Others is more to themselves like Adrian was the case, with more arrogance and superb and not truly believing what was best to humankind. Worse than that even if more hones is perhaps the cases that simply want to rule without really caring for the world or anyone around, pretty much like Shendu and the Demon Sorcerers.

By the for someone talking about cliches Adrian really commited one of the worsts by bad guys standards, not starting the ritual as soon as he could or simply killed the good guys in front of him. It is a recorring mistake on their part.

I hope that this is not truly goodbye. Maybe if you are putting an epilogue and you also have plans for a sequel maybe you could tie them up? One mistake they did commit was not finishing Zhao (but with would clash with Jackies personality, even his Yang side wouldnt kill, I think) which can means he could return. With Shendu I could understand since demons are supposedly immortal in some way (and Jade did try to off him and didnt work).
