This is really exciting to read! Kyubey looks like he's planning something, and it's nice to see two of my favourite animes get a crossover like this. Though I must say, I shudder to think of Yuno as a magical girl. Her fighting skills are already terrifying enough as a human, adding magical powers to the mix would probably make her unbeatable!

Wow, I'm surprised. The whole system. How the Witches are replaced with Wraiths in Madoka's witch-free system. It totally makes sense. And of course Homura won't question it, even though she questions everything else in life. She never questions anything else that has to do with Madoka (unless it's something that puts Madoka in danger). She doesn't want the kind and selfless image of the Magical Girl who saved her life in the first timeline to be shattered. So obviously, anything and everything that might showcase that Madoka may have some faults are thrown out the window. Homura does need to realize that Madoka isn't an entirely selfless. Madoka does have some aspect f selfishness. The third timeline Madoka proved it with making Homura promise to save her from contacting. Yeah, save only Madoka. What about Sayaka? Did Madoka that Sayaka made a contract with Kyubey like herself, and she was just as doomed? Or did that not occur to her? And what about Mami and Kyoko? I know it'll be too late to keep them from contracting, but Homura could always offer her advice and protection when need be. Did none this go through Madoka's head when she making this last request to Homura? I mean, she obviously had time since she wasn't turning to a Witch immediately, and she obviosuly did a lot of planning if worse comes to worst fighting Walpurgisnacht. How else would she have Sayaka's Grief Seed when the rest didn't, not even Homura, see it? At the end of the day, Madoka only cared for herself, and was using Homura to prolong her own life with the time travel and all because it's not like she can make another wish.

Sorry. But really, although Madoka is the most selfless person out of the entire cast, there's simply no such thing as a selfless person, no matter how hard one tries to be. All selfless actions has an ulterior selfish desire behind. Even Madoka's wish has a selfish motivation behind it. Power and recognition. What would truly put Madoka's selflessness to the test would be her battle against Homura, if that would make that? Because if there's nothing wrong in Homura's system (as it's implied in the end of Rebellion) and once Madoka gets her memories and godlike powers back, but then decides to bring the Magical Girl and Wraith system back, even though everything it's already fine, just to make herself feel needed and wanted... Will make Madoka the most self-centered, egotistical, manipulative character out of the entire cast, maybe even the entire series! Yes, even worse than Kyubey! Making everyone miserable, just so that she can 'help' and feel useful for making everyone's lives 'better'. She'll go from the most selfless person to the most selfish. But that isn't going to happen. I really Madoka is better than that. But to me, if they were to continue PMMM, the next movie or series or whatever will be a test of how selfless Madoka is. Is she truly a selfless person? Or does all her so-called selfless acts have some kind of ulterior selfish motivation?

By the way, I do think third timeline Madoka is the pinnacle of how selfish Madoka can be. The promise highlights Madoka's selfish nature that she tries to hide, like Sayaka's hides hers with all her 'hero of justice' crap. Just saying. You are what you are in the dark.

In all honesty this wasn't what I'd hoped for at all, but I can't really say I should have expected any differently. Really disappointing, especially since to me, both Mirai Nikki and the PMMM series have fairly happy/satisfying endings, and this was neither happy nor satisfying. But I can't criticize your technique at all; this was well written. You have a definite knack for fight scenes. I'm not as devastated as I could have been, for which I'm pretty glad, maybe because I hadn't yet built up strong opinions on how the story should end before I got there (sometimes I do this to myself and get destroyed). I wish I could view your thoughts on the development of this story and your interpretation of the ending. I'm sure it must have been a really interesting process to come up with it all.
By the way, Homura's "I love you" being what sealed the deal was brilliant. It made so much sense.
Keep up with writing, you're quite talented.

I think I see it now. Yuno wants to summon Madoka, and perhaps sacrifice her to revive Yuki (a God for a God or something), and Homura decided to use the portal to summon Madoka for herself..

This would be a nice confrontation. Homura and Yuno are quite similar, after all.
