...Interesting, the first FOZ fin I've ever seen where the familiar immediately runs. Also, henriettaBehelith? Egh.

Well, that was nice.

Guts slaughtering a horse is nice touch. Its vary Guts of him, and the whole operation of stealing a little girl's horse and killing the old man's sets a good tone for his escape.

Henrietta was Eh. Griffith only earned his badguy credit after raping Casca to insanity and killing 99(?) of his own guys. That's setting the bar a little high for Henrietta, though with it being pre-eclipse it would be purely for reader enjoyment; seeing if she can one up or match Griffith for biggest DickMoves.

40 reviews/1 chapter words is a ridiculous rate of reviewing, especially 1.5k chapters.

Personally I never understood those college heavy types. People can go back to school later, after working. Not ideal, but nothings perfect.

Anyway, nice chapter; hope you flush out how Guts messing up FoZ will snowball.

Well, this is... old. Still good, well written and delivers solid premise; but old.

Familiar of Zero is a dead fad now, and while I loved it while it lasted, nothing of significant note came of it.

Berserk has always been the underdog of the anime world in general; too mature and violent for kids, its pathetic target market has kept it from a breakout anime release for years on end.

Berserk doesn't crossover well. Guts isn't Harry Potter, or Naruto, or Goku. He's a normal human, like Aragorn or Sgt. Angel; he changes the story with his actions, not his mere presence or magic bullcr_p.

And you take that and run with it. Most stick religiously to the canonical storyline with a different character in Saito's place, but you have Guts rocking the boat immidaity. It's sad, but with the other factors of your writing that sets this 3k word diddy over 99% of FoZ crossovers. Competition was stiff, I know.

Will be interesting to see just how you expand this, as it looks like your most popular fic in reviews/word count. Sadly, with Foz fading from public interest and Berserk needing some serious love, you'll probably be getting the same 1k reader's each update.
