I'm really enjoying this story! Sure, there are some minor deviations from the game, but all in all its wonderfully done! What deviations there are make sense in context, and your version of Sparrow only enhances the story. I'm really loving it. I look forward to seeing more of this from you. So please continue!

Great chapter! I'm glad that you fleshed out Derek, since he's one of the characters I always thought of fondly, and who I wanted to know more about. I do wonder,l though, whether Lord Lucien would actually have been the driving force behind the arrest warrants. He seemed too preoccupied with the Spire, even early on. If you take the evil route, and you give the warrants to Arfur, you also find out, on returning to Old Town, that Lucien just abandoned everything and left. These factors do make me think that it's Derek, more than Lucien, who would be behind drawing up the warrants, but this is a nitpick.

It's nice that you fleshed out Barnum a little bit, also, and used his quotations about the pox. That always amused me. It's also good that you illustrated the crowd, and how hostile they were. I always thought it should probably be worse than it's depicted in the game, where they basically just shout mean things at him!

I did think it was a bit of a lost opportunity not to write more about the fighting couple and the quest to find the 'booze' from the game. I always thought they were very amusing characters in the game. However, this omission does not ruin the chapter at all.

One very good addition is Arfur's behaviour when he realises he isn't going to get the warrants. I always thought the game missed a chance to have more conflict when he basically just lets you pass at that point if you make the opportunity to return the warrants to Derek.

All in all, a very enjoyable chapter!

These chapters have been fun, and I like your Rose and little Sparrow. But I don't understand why you wouldn't just skip all this.

Wow! That was the greatet chapter ever written in the history of FF that explained Spareows ange- REGARDLESS of the gender. You explained the fury and rage right down to a T. I don't think it could've been explained any better.

You went through the Spire very quickly, but you also did very well summarizing it up. I really like how Sparrow doesn't comply easily and that she still has her dignity. Thanks for the update and I can't wait until next month to read the next chapter.

I really liked how you portrayed Sparrow's unwilligness to submit, meshed in with her reluctant, sort of obedience. Having the memory of the night her sister died as a focal point was well done.

Eagerly awaiting the next chapter, especially the fighting, and how you'll compare Garth's will powers to Sparrow's jack of all trade nature.

Great way on explaining how she entered the Spire. I love the battle Sparrow not only fights with Lucien, but with herself.
