This fucked me up ...so SOOOO GOOD!

This is so damn sad, and all because Edward doesn't want to be faithful. Are you ever going to do a follow up of this? I want to see Bella happy, even if it is with someone else. After all Edward has never had to see one of Bella's lovers.

I loved this story, and as I was reading it, I was disappointed on your behalf that the contest was cancelled. But it's still a good thing because it resulted in inspiring this, and in the end, the fact that you wrote it is what matters. And what you wrote was a different take on Edward and Bella than I've ever read, even though they still held many canon traits. I loved how you characterized them as both being nontraditional while holding very different philosophies. Edward as a writer, I always love and rarely see. And it really enhances the fact that he's so different.

I also really liked how you revealed their differences and their problems slowly. It was almost like the reader was piecing it together along the way, and by the time it's revealed officially, the reader just nods her heads and says, yes. Great, great job with that. It isn't easy.

It's so simple for me to just say, God, Edward, if you love her and want her that much, just do right by her. But I haven't walked in shoes the shape of his before, and I could deduce that it's not that easy for someone who is not a natural monogamist. I have a feeling that his love and desire for her is getting the better of him in the end, and that he has already decided to do the monogamy thing with her and for her. I also know that it will not be easy. And he is so right, rather than cheating on the one you love, let them go.

Beautiful job, girl, getting me to know and understand these characters and their motivations, as well as getting me to think about real human behavior, and problems that I've never had to face. Love that!

God this is so heartbreaking and bittersweet. They seem to love and lose each other all the time. It would be nice if they ever got their HEA with each other I stead of all the love and pain. Debbie

I loved it! For my own sanity I am going to believe that Edward gets that apadravya before they are too old and jaded to enjoy just each other. Wish it wasn't taking so long for him to realize that.

Nice mix of angsty goodness with the potential for a HEA.

I just loved this. Such an interesting, messed dynamic between these two - and it just really got me. I think this could've done well in the contest and give you kudos for not going overboard on the theme. Just right.
