whilst i get that his career may or may not be on the line, because of his actions, i can certainly empathise & understand why he did what he did & for whom he did it for... coz really when it comes down to it, all bren did was speak to the suspect, i don't care how or what she said, that doesn't matter, he had no right to beat upon her, coz if anyones going to excuse the creep doing wot he did, say for example, coz bren spoke to him in a condescendingly manner, then booth had the right to re-act in defence of his wife/partner for being physically abused by a cuffed suspect in an interrogation room, being questioned.

totally loved your last part of this chapter, where his bones didn't yell or get mad at him, she cared for & loved him, for loving her & wanting to make sure she's ok, back in their home.

Wow that was intense. And so perfectly Booth. All that strength and violence. The potential of it always there, and he usually manages to keep in check. Until he doesn't want to. Really well written to portray that. And I love how everyone is afraid of him in that moment, everyone except Brennan. She know that side of him and understands. More than he realizes. And knows the power she holds over him.
