Ah, this, as one of the first RWBY fics I ever read, brings back memories. Funny thing is that, back then, shipping confused the fuck out of me. Now, I spend most of my time reading some type of shipping story. Great story, and I would love to see a sequel to this(maybe a white rose fic set when they are in high school).

Well that was a nice change of pace. Well written and engaging, although the thought processes seem too... old? I'm not sure, it just feels as though Ruby's thoughts aren't those of a child. But beyond that, it was a very nice read.
