why doesn't she get an abortion?

The little stories of the pregnancy tests was really cute, especially how Penny’s thoughts kept changing with each successive one. The big underlying thing in this whole story to me was that Penny would never be alone if any of those tests were positive, she would never have to fear raising their child by herself, Leonard would always be there. This was a really nice story, however, I do wonder how you would write this story now, after Penny said she didn’t want children in the show.

Oh my gosh, this is the best story I've ever read! You captured the emotions perfectly and put in the story's 'background'/ plot while keeping the T.V. show in mind too (I think I said that wrong...) Anyway, amazing story!

Wonderfully done! Loved how canon was mixed with different times throughout their relationship! Loved Penny's changing perspective too! Best of all - the last line! Absolutely wonderful!

Filling in the missing parts, I like that. Nice little description of scenes we can only imagine in our minds. Like the last part about keeping the positive one.

The use of how old they are at each point she took a pregnancy test as markers worked really well for placing your mind in that situation, along with the links to moments we see on the show. I really liked the development from the first one, where she knew she wasn't ready, to it gradually becoming more of a 'we could actually do this' kind of thing. And that it's only at the last one that you mention the next time one went in there it would be positive gave a nice little nod towards how her thoughts had changed to thinking about it in terms of being positive rather than 'if it is not negative' - and that that's what would deserve to go in the box too. Loved this!

That was really well written. I like how you showed Penny's changing perspective over the years. And how you made references to the episodes near which these events took place. And of course, the last sentence was perfect to wrap up the story. Awesome job! :)

Gah, that final line. The feels. And "... it was going to happen at some point anyway".

And I absolutely love TADD being one of the times she thought she was pregnant, and that that's part of how she ended in the tub. Geeking out so hard right now. But, yeah, this was great, and loved all the other moments you weaved the tests into. Great job, Big Lisbon!

Showing all the different stages Penny goes through, and especially how the first one ties into Adhesive Duck. Each little segment gave me feels. And the thought that the next test she saves will be positive had crossed my mind too, so I love how that was your ending note!
