I love this story. I remember reading it a couple months ago, forgetting about it, them remembering it again. Unfortunately, I did not know the name. So I literally searched, "condition that hinders speaking think a lot of words but only say one," on Google, because that's what I could remember. Finally, I found the disease name and typed it into the search bar, clicked a few filters, and found this fic.
I am glad that I did. Reading this again only makes it better. Broca's Aphasia is a fascinating disorder, and also terrifying. I think I would go crazy if I was trapped like Ludwig. It takes a good writer to make a reader change or think, and you've done both. I thought for about an hour after reading this, thoughts swimming through my mind. It made me think about how hard people with Broca's Aphasia have it. People're going to treat them like they're invalids because they assume that they're stupid or can't think right, but really, they can. Not being able to communicate properly is horrible. I'm glad I read this, because if I ever happen to meet a person with this disorder, then I know they they can understand me and how it feels for them, or something along those lines. Point is, I'm sure that most of the people that read this fic are more aware of this disorder and how they treat people.
Feliciano's disorder is also very interesting, and I love the story behind it.
Also I really like how you write Ludwig. Fist person is hard to do, especially if you're doing it for a canon character. But you've done it splendidly.
I like how you'll use the bolded words to emphasize the more important things or important thoughts. The effect adds a lot to the story, and I really like how you did it.
All in all, this story is beautiful and I'm sure that I'll read it any more times in the future.

My heart... oh, my sweet heart. This was so heart-wrenching and beautiful, and the ending left me with the perfect cocktail of sweet and sadness. And I really loved reading about DiD, it's a very interesting condition and one that is very rarely represented or talked about. Loved it!
