Although I'm enjoying this story immensely, I'm still puzzled as to why no one (including Rush, Eli and pretty much every one else) didn't conceive of duplicating the effect that happened in the Stargate:SG1 story entitled "48 Hours", in which Teal'c was effectively stuck in the memory buffer of the stargate?

I have no doubt that Rush and Eli, working together, couldn't have found a way for one of them (Col. young, maybe?) to be 'stored' in such a manner. And, according to that episode, the power needs would be practically nothing.

So, admittedly, it took me several years and reruns to have come up with that but I still feel that Eli and Rush should have thought of it first.

Anyone's thoughts?

This is fantastic! I was having a hard time with fhat sudden ending of the show so this is certainly helpful! And its actually really believable. Please keep it up!

I love this Tory so much every time you up date I reread it all over again tell I get to the new chapter. Keep up the good work.

P.s I know you should go at your own pass and life gets crazy but update soon. Since the show ended this is the only way I get new stargate stories.

here in New Zealand they repeated SGU on Sky TV. Last hight (sob sob) was the final episode. I turned to my wife saying how I hated that they ended the series but wondered if there was any fan fiction out there...well. Yes there was and in particular i was seeking a story where it takes up where it left off. Thorougly enjoyed the first chapter of The Lost Star. Funnily enough I imagined Young looking across the Stasis chamber to discover that Eli's chamber was still empty and broken! Looks like I have a "Universe" to explore once more. :-)

So I just finished SGU and I was VERY disappointed at the cliffhanger. I still think my idea of how Eli survived/what he did was the best, but this is a close 2nd... AND YOU GOT THE CHARACTERIZATION RIGHT (I could never do that) so I've pretty much accepted this as my substitute for a third season. Can't thank you enough for writing it, choosing to upload and English version, and just generally being awesome. This is amazing. Rush and Eli are also my favorite characters, as well as Varro, so... suffice it to say this is beautiful. I hope you update it soon! ~Mira
