I loved this story! I enjoyed seeing all the possible different scenarios playing out in Danny's mind, and the real thing seemed realistic with respect to Jack and Maddie's reactions. I also thought it was clever to make the song lyrics play the role of "act breaks" to separate the fantasies. (It's also a very good song.) You have a knack for internal monologue - keep up the good work!

Hi! This is probably really late, but I just want to tell you that I really enjoyed this one-shot, especially after reading the title. I have guessed earlier that it's going to be THAT song. When I first heard that song, I thought it fit Danny too! Glad you thought so! :)

That was amazing. Most reveal stories don't capture the emotion Danny should feel, but you did excellently. I did notice a few minor grammar mistakes, however.

Well damn. That was amazing.
I wasn't really prepared for how that went.
It was excellently written and the build up was amazing. I wanted to skip ahead several times to see what their answer would be because I was half expecting half hoping that it would be a happy ending but the way you wrote it kept me from doing that and had me guessing if they were actually going to accept Phantom.

Awww. That was sweet. I have a fic in my mind, where Danny confesses and his parents don't accept him. It ignores PP. Basically, they say well, if you let us get rid of Phantom, then we will accept you. And Danny refuses or they just flat out reject him. I know they accept him in the show, but OF course that is going to happen in the show; it's a children's cartoon.
But it's fun to play with the idea of them rejecting him.
And it's funny. Because in the fic that I'm thinking of, it is Sam who he goes and stays with. Because she has the huge house and it's likely they have spare rooms. Danny leaves his parents and Sam basically tells them that if they come any where near her or Danny or her house, she will call the cops (and since she has money and her parents influence and Jack and Maddie are the town's crackpots, it works)
Basically, Danny stays with Sam and she's the one who comforts him through everything; the rejection, the stress.

Oh my gosh, this is so sweet! At first I was like, please don't be sad, but then that part when they help him fight ghosts, I couldn't stop smiling!

Such a great story! I especially loved all the thoughts and doubt's running through Danny's head; it was suspenseful and gave a lot of curiosity to me. The situation is completely realistic!

Danny got acceptance from his parents, what every teenager wants so he is lucky to now have a bigger team watching his back.

This is so beautiful, i love happy endings. I was so worried there, for a moment, and each fantasy you painted, you painted with perfect detail, but the end scenario was the best, the best because that was the truth, the truth to Danny, at least.
