Hey! So, uh, this is absolutely amazing and I am completely enwrapped in this story. I've been reading it 24/7 over the last week and a bit and wow! I actually really really love this story and can see the work you put into it. I'm deeply saddened to see no "next" button after Chap 192, and i'm not quite sure why you stopped or whether you will ever update this again seeing it's one day away from being a year since you last updated but seriously, I can feel my heart breaking knowing there's a possibility there might not be any more of this story. I Love you're work and the amount of effort put into this story, I don't think i've read too many faniction stories on this sort of level. It truly is amazing and if you have any plans or hopes of continuing or updating this story I will be seriously pleased. Thanks for taking the time to read this if you have and please do continue this if you can. You're an amazing author and are clearly very smart and dedicated and I love you're work. 3

For anyone looking for the rest of this story, it is completed on whofic. I am so glad I stumbled over the completed version on whofic! Tidied up very well and great ending to the story. I loved the actual reason for the attack and that all humans arent just nasty racist jerks. Bravo!

Hi, interesting story... Looks like you either have a background in health care & medicine or you have done more research for a piece of Fan Fiction than I have ever seen.
I love your characters and the interaction between them, and your use of descriptive English made it easy to visualise exactly what was going on.
I am just glad you are not my Dr... I hate Ketamine - I have been given it a few times as part of emergency surgery and it always makes me feel like parts of my brain fall asleep and stay that way for a long time.
Your comment about not getting out of bed was very funny and also one I can identify with... And yes I got caught by a nurse trying to 'get out of bed & escape' whilst I was being treated for injuries that included fractures (although I have not had one as sever as you gave the Dr) my keg fracture did not include the ankle and my few spinal fractures were all 'stable'.
Just a question... Was there any reason why a nerve block was not used? I have had lower leg surgery on a bone cyst in my foot which used a nerve block as the anesthetic - the Dr who operated on my foot had to almost cut my foot in half to remove a piece of wire that had worked its way into one of the bones in my foot causing a fracture and eventually a cyst in the bone. Strangely apart from pain on weight bearing the biggest complaint I had before surgery was an itch (from hell) in my foot.
Please keep writing... Although it takes me longer to read your work than the usual fan fiction I find. It is because your work deserves to be savoured and understood. Your story is very easy to read and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a substantial story with good plot and fantastic characters.
Ironically I use reading fan fiction to distract me from the after effects of multiple spinal injuries of my neck which include chronic pain and depression.

Dr Carter was called Adrian much earlier in the story, not Lawrence. Must be hard to keep up with character's names, with all this story. Just something I noticed and thought to point out.
