   NVJ chapter 2 . 3/4/2019 Karai uses a blade called the shikomizue, it's longer than the tantō but thinner in width and smaller in height of the blade. It's also easily confused with the wakizashi blade which is thicker in width and taller in height but about as long. Tantōs are more like long daggers. All of them closely related to the katana. |
