This story is freaking awesome. Great job in placing a monster of the week in there. Now I know this is from a couple of years ago...but know that your earning fans every day! :)

This was a great story. You did a terrific job of combining the case with the romantic element and the story of Dean's past.

I really felt the sadness shared by the brothers (and Jody) as they discussed selling Singer Salvage. And how they hurt when they 'slipped' still calling the place "Bobby's".

I really liked the way you showed us the flashbacks of Dean's past and didn't play it out all at once, but provided it in shorter snippets, giving us time to guess at all the details. I honestly thought that Tiara was going to say that when Dean told her to run, she didn't go right away, that she hid and watched until Dean had killed her father, then ran to Bobby's... Never telling anyone what she saw, and kept his secret all these years. So that her surprise when Dean and Jody came to her office wasn't shock that he'd killed her dad, but that he'd confessed. But her genuine surprise was a surprise to me (which, as a reader, I like to guess and be wrong, so that's good).

The way you wrapped up the case was also very cool, and I liked that there wasn't a lot of Winchesters in Peril for this one - they managed to find out what was going on and track down the proper people to 'fix' the situation with a minimum of casualties, but didn't have to go around getting all beat up in the process. It was refreshing.

Your romantic storyline here was also very well done and fun to read the sexy bits. They were smoldering... Whew!

Dean's pain and torment here was written perfectly - we all know he loves the self-torture and is #1 and personal loathing and thinking he's a second-class citizen. But you wrote it expertly. Kudos.
