Violette chapter 1 . 3/26/2019
I love this. I feel like this reunion is really something missing in the show ! Thank you for this fic !
TheDiamondSword400 chapter 1 . 9/24/2016

riverwouldknowshealwaysknew chapter 1 . 5/14/2016
The way you write these two is perfect. There aren't enough fics in this fandom appreciating how amazing their relationship is, but yours are really damn good. And that ending.. Oh my heart could hardly handle it
Totally Spazz-tastic chapter 1 . 8/10/2015
I fluv these two. PS. While they never call each other father or son, truly believe that Izumi called Iroh "Grandfather".
BlatantBookworm chapter 1 . 3/15/2015
This is absolutely adorable. Well, not adorable, but I love it anyway. The characterisation is perfect, and you keep hold of how Zuko's own character changed.
detectivejigsaw chapter 1 . 1/23/2015
It's okay, I like the fluff. And frankly, Iroh is more of a father to him than Ozai could ever have hoped to be.
Ginny Everdeen Potter chapter 1 . 11/28/2014
Crying at the end there.
Squibble the WhovianBreadstick chapter 1 . 6/24/2014

septimaluna chapter 1 . 12/23/2013
TTuTT is soooo CUTE! i love it!
Roseblade22 chapter 1 . 11/30/2013
Aw, I did like it very much, and it was exceptionally fluffy. But honestly, how could you avoid that in this situation? You did well.

One extremely minor nitpick, however: You wrote that Zuko "bolted upright, only to immediately double over with a gasp of pain as he pressed his hand to his chest." Honestly, I don't think that Zuko's instinct would be to touch the very area on his body that was burned so badly. Pressing his hand into the burned, blistered area would only cause him more anguish.

Here are a few things I really liked: 1.) That Toph was the one to first sense Iroh's nervousness. I love those two together! 2.) That you acknowledged in the narrative that Zuko's most lasting physical and emotional scars were delivered by family members. I think that's one of those things that is so obvious people sometimes miss it. Obviously, this story implies that his greatest healer, in both the physical and emotional sense, is also a family member-Iroh.

I would LOVE to see you try your hand at a very dark Avatar fiction. In your hands, such subject matter could not go wrong. You'd definitely have a reader in me. I encourage you to try it! Well done, my friend!
Jason9000 chapter 1 . 11/30/2013
Well that was a good one. You don't normally see what happens after the big battles at the end of the series. It usually just ends with loading Ozai onto that big airship, a small scene of people getting, back to the capital, and then the tea shop. Glad to see someone address Zuko's injury right after it happened. Anyway great job on it Ness.
Atarah Derekh chapter 1 . 11/29/2013
This was very sweet. This is what makes Iroh my favorite character in the series.
