Well, for starters, their pack animals...so there’s that. They tend to go for hit and runs on smaller prey and would never attack a human unless with their pack or if cornered.

I am a little confused but I'm pretty sure it'll clear up since this is only the prologue. I really like your story it keeps you thinking what's going to happen next. Good job!
