These two scenes, "Puny god" and "I'll have that drink now", were scenes I always laughed at. I really like how seriously you handled them, while at the same time, not-exactly dodging their humorous side.

That line...'ribbons of death'...evocative. Chilling. I like it.

I like that 'vicious threats' are what's going on in his mind, with the memories, and how you depicted that. Visual, and, simultaneously, internal. Nicely done. The re-calibration was well-handled. It led smoothly and naturally out of and then back into the movie.

And I really liked that last section, when he and Thor went back to Asgard. I thought it fit really well into how the actors performed it. I could visualize the scene and put these in as Loki's thoughts. You didn't get muddled in any of the baggage of the other characters - which is an impressive feat - You stuck with your subject and handled it with grace and assurance.

This is great. Short, sweet, pitch-perfect. Bravo.

All of your fics like this—focusing on Loki's torture—are absolutely incredible. Seriously. This one is something I've thought about before, but you captured it really well.

I've read quite a lot on what people think happened with Loki and his (possible) mind-control and this one doesn't go too much in any direction; I like that. It's actually close to my own headcanon, that Loki more or less (maybe less) did everything of his own volition, except that the Tesseract/scepter amplified his negative emotions, making him more violent. His demeanor and motivations in 'Thor' and TDW is very different from 'The Avengers', so I've always thought that theory was closest to canon- if there is anything to it. (I also think Loki is using Asgard as a shield against Thanos. I guess we'll see where that goes in the future, if anywhere.)

So this is perfect. I love the way you write; the thought processes are so logical and realistic that they might as well be canon.

Wholy **** these are good. I read your first 7 chapter fanfic along with this one and absolutely LOVED them. Have no clue what there aren't more reviews. Your fanfictions go along perfectly with my belief of what happened and could be a very possible canon for what actually happened. We don't really know what happened in between the realms, but I have a hard time believing Loki would easily just give in so easily to Thanos and the others on his arrival. Loki works for no one but himself. But yeah it breaks my heart because no one knows but loki what really happened! No one would ever believe him if he told anyone, nor would he make himself out to be a sympathy case, so he'd prob stay silent. I would definitely like to see some more of this. Please please please write another one? For me, if no one else. I love good angsty fanfiction. Maybe you could have a scene where he's facing his family on trial and everything gets revealed about his time with the others. Loki finally breaking down would in front of people would be an interesting thing to see. If you don't write it, I may have to.
