I just finished reading this.
This chapter -8- is my favorite. Hands down.
And I like the way you stretched out Ruby's and Blake's romance over the course of their time at Beacon. I believe in true love, but not in true love at first sight. If there was a chance for Ruby and Blake to be a thing in the series, I'd want it to follow your example.
I also liked how you staggered it, jumping between the three years from chapter to chapter. Made for an interesting read.
I do hope you come back to this with a new chapter, or a conclusion - a happy one, please.

Well, where to begin... I know! So, first all - I really like that you have this being a relationship that develops over years. I know it's possible to have those "love at first sight" kind of deals or otherwise quick developments of a relationship, but I appreciate the slow change you paint in Blake from reluctant tolerance, to accepting friendship, and then love. And even then, you don't have it develop quickly. I like your portrayal of the two as well, I could definitely see Ruby being the kind to persist like that. All in all, it's a nice work. I can't wait to see what else you come up with for it.
