Very nice! Fili seemed to be really pushed into the background in the movie, I'd never really considered what he thought of Tauriel and Kili. In your story here, Fili's thoughts and reactions were realistic and believable. The ending left me with the sense that he still does not approve of what may be developing between his brother and the elf, but he trusts her to help Kili. I liked that.
