This is a wonderful idea and sheds light to a deeper look into Smaug's character and purpose in the story. It really makes this hardcore villain not as one-dimensional as he was in the original story, and I am officially a huge fan of this work.

Also, I loved your OC. Her spunk and resolve are so believable, and the twists added unexpected originality. I also liked the themes in this: revenge, the love between parent and child, forgiveness, and idividuality. Applause!

Wow a really great story. I enjoyed that a lot and you should do more storys like that. It scared me when kalaana was suposed dead but you suprised with that revival of her.
