i love that your lily doesn't feel like she has to tell them, i know too. and i love that james & sirius didn't really make remus mad - i have a feeling they know exactly how, and that it would also hurt if they did it in front of lily, so they didn't. i think you've got 16-year-old boys down amazingly well - bad language just for the sake of shocking people, then the childishness of tickling hexes and throwing things at each other, and the verge-of-adulthood giggling over sexual innuendo in a naughty song. made me smile. :D

Of course they're not that horrible. They will successfully lie to her for the next two years about keeping off Snape, and she will end up loving them all. And she knows damn well that Remus is pants at being a prefect.

But Snape doesn't really matter, he's only a Slytherin, after all.
