Man, that was dark.

Sakura wasn't ever my favorite or even someone I could say I "liked" even 30 percent of the time, but this fic made me feel bad for the girl. Haruno REALLY was written wrong and made weak in comparison to Naruto and Sasuke, and this fic is exactly a way that expresses the boundaries, even if it is one where the Sand and Sound Village succeeded.

It is interesting for a fic to go in debt on the power difference in Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto, as well as how it can take a toll on Sakura's mentality. The mentions of her presence being downplayed or ignored in favor of her male teammates or the "other types of shinobis" really brings this story together. Amazing work. Definitely my favorite Sakura centric fic so far in my life, as well as the first to really make me like Sakura more and cut her some slack, which shows how brilliantly made and thought out your fanfictions are. I'll be sure to check your other works.

O.o...so...is that basically Sakura going a little insane? It's good of course, but the ending is slightly too vague and disconnected because you didn't really hint at her falling apart and stuff earlier so.

Really good otherwise, though. And I loved your summary. Keep up the good work!

Wow. I thought this fic was amazing. It was just...wow. I liked this detached, introspective Sakura. For some reason though I think that the last line doesn't work. Besides that great job.

Ohh, what an interesting re-writing of canon. I can't say I like that all of those wonderful people died, but your ending did make my eyes light up and make me give you extra marks for the nasty surprise. Nicely done! Nothing like a challenge to my heart first thing in the morning. Thanks.

Your right, this what if the Suna invasion and Orochimaru succeeded is depressing. The best and the bravest gone, leaving things to those suvivors who could never compete with the firsts and the thirds.
