Hello! I really like your characterization in this story, especiallly for the Queen of the Southern Isles. Also Roland is eerily similar to one of my OCs its a bit scary esp since mine is also a fire Hans Au but great minds think alike i suppose

I really like this idea and set up, and fire Hans, I'm curious to see how it would be handled. I'm hoping this fic hasn't been given up yet! I really do like this idea.

This is unquestionably the BEST frozen fic I've read so far. Easily. The concept and the writing are excellent and the delivery. It's perfect - and I find that very rare on this site. Plus, I don't get to see many fics about Hans having fire powers. Which is sad because its just adds a whole new level of conflict between him and Elsa - which I can totally see you delving into here. Please don't abandon this story. It's awesome so far and I'm not only loving the characters from the movie but the OC's you brought in. The Queen of the Southern Isles is now a fully fledged character in my mind. Keep writing, I'll eagerly await updates on this! :D

This is so very, very good. I am immensely interested in finding out more about Hans and his powers and how and when he'll show Elsa. There's going to be some cunning political intrigue and sly witty wooing going on here, I can tell! But the question is, will Hans be the one wooing or being wooed himself?

This is so good! Very well written, in character and with a promising plot. When I watched Frozen the first time, I thought Hans was going to fall in love with Elsa after saving her from becoming a monster, and that idea hasn't left my mind yet so thank you for writting this! I saw that you didn't update on february at all, I hope you are just busy and haven't abandoned this fic! Keep it coming please!

This is so good. The edge of realism in it works wonders to point out that the sudden winter in the middle of summer spoils that season’s harvest, and how you show the real business of what a ruler actually does (not just the Disney way, which is sit on a throne and wear a crown), and yet it never loses the feel that we’re still in the same world that we learned to know from that Disney movie - it never loses touch with that. It is so refreshing to me, I can't even tell you…

I do love the situation you’ve set up here - absolutely brilliant and original. Hans advising Elsa looks like it’s going to lead to all sort of trouble, which I look very forward to reading about! ;)

It’s cruel to start Elsa’s reign off with a disaster like this - especially since she’s inexperienced, and already insecure due to her largely uncontrollable powers, and the fact that a lot of the people are still nervous of her because of this. Sure, she says she’s not evil nor will she use them for evil purposes, but they’ve all seen what she could do and they’re still uneasy. And I don’t blame them, either! It’s cruel; but it’s realistic, and a logical ‘sequel’ to the movie’s events. I am fully confident you'll make it get better though! :)

The characterisation - especially Elsa’s - is perfect. (Although this may be because I am horribly biased in favour of your interpretation of her character, because it mirrors my own exactly.) Her worries about her kingdom, her determination to fix its problems, her anger towards Hans on Anna’s behalf - all just right. :)

“Her gaze cast toward her father’s portrait. Strong. Regal. Yes, he would know what to do. Conceal. Don’t feel. Don’t let it show. She could take care of this. She could fix it, and no one would be the wiser.” … I love those lines, they really fit Elsa well, I feel.

Fantastic story so far. I love the style and the steady approach. I'm particularly excited to see how things develop. I've never been a huge fan of stories that dive straight into the romance. Slow and steady romances, especially when the characters are as complex as Elsa and Hans, are always more interesting. Your story gives me everything I could want in a fanfic. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Loving it so far :D I like the POV changes and that they aren't immediately forgiving each other and falling in love. Poor Elsa, poor Anna...even poor Hans, being isolated in his own home. :(
