I wish the original book incorporated your story, then the Sookie in "Dead and Gone" would be less insecure. I loved the fact that they talked in detail about the bond in your story, because in the subsequent CH novels she always questioned what was real between the bond and her feelings.

Ugh, so perfect. You write such great little glimpses of them at key moments...but truly I think the whole story from here on out could use a rewrite with your fingerprints all over it!

I think one of the sexiest scenes between S/E I've ever read was right there in all it's restrained simplicity - all that tension, Sookie feeling the release through the bond as Eric bit his pillow and came like a teenager, teasing her as he changed. The electricity between them jumped off the page. I miss this S/E!

You write their dialogue so well...if only this conversation had really been in the books, it would fit in so well! Assuming they actually talked these things through as they should have...

When she lets go of her fear and feels with her heart she makes good decisions. Eric handled that whole thing with Quinn so well, and he didn't try to push Sookie into a position to have to defend Quinn. Eric let her work all of that out for herself. the last part of this was so sweet and so full of love that it made me tear up big time! Wonderful story!

Sookie can be such a numbskull sometimes. I can understand her being afraid of loving Eric, the real Eric, since it hurt so much to lose him when his curse lifted. But my goodness! Hearing what he was thinking in his head about how he wants to love her and take care of her. Then he wiggles his beautiful award winning bottom at her? What in the world is she waiting for?

Of course I love how this is going. Although I honestly don't understand how she could even consider anything with Quinn when Eric is being so sweet and gentle with her right now. Giving her what she needs without asking for anything for himself. This has to be hard for him too. But I am glad she recognizes he is being honest in helping her and that she trusts him.

So much better than her snuggling with Quinn. They should have talked that night.
