I like that Asuna, Princees Asuna! :), is still around in this fic as she was already a more than few decades old when Negima began and then there was the century she spent asleep just before the end of the manga. With that in mind it's hard nor to see her living long enough to meet Touta.

I'm glad that I looked into the UQ Holder section so I could find this, I really like it and hope more comes eventually.

Just so you're aware, Kuromaru and Setsuna aren't from the same clan; Setsuna was an uzoku, while Kuromaru is from the Yata no Garasu tribe. They're two totally different things.

Good job, although not only I don't really like UQ Holder and think it's a step down from Negima, but I don't like the revelation about the bird tribe (not because of any silly scruples or anything like that, but because it looks like a forced, clumsy addition to the former canon). There are some slight Unfortunate Implications on Setsuna 'having to' changer her gender to be with Konoka, and Kuromaru seems to be genderless for now, while Setsuna seemed to be definitely female before her sixteen (or else, she never could bathe with other girls without rising suspicions).

But even so, your writing is still just as fine. I wish we still had Negima, with the proper resolution it deserved, instead of this new series, but that's hardly your fault.

I've been meaning to check out UQ Holder! so now was a great place to start. It's through a Love Hina/Negima crossover fan fic that I came across Akamatsu's Negima series and I fell in love with it. In a sense, even though I knew it existed, a fan fic has once again led me to something new and I have you to thank.
