Ooooh, yay! An author note! How fun and interesting, right?!

So, because of the delicate nature I feel this AU provides, I've decided to write this author note as a sort of introduction to these drabbles. Personally, I'm always very skeptical over girl!Luffy AUs when I come across them. And I'm very critical of them so let me make a few things clear on this one.

I will not appreciate heckling for the sake of it. I'm writing these because the prospect of it excites me and I won't be happy with people raining on my parade. I always try very hard to write faithful characterizations and this will be hard here, because nothing like this has really happened in the series (with a few exceptions), but nevertheless…

Reasonable, right?

Now, for the people who DO like this sort of artistically licensed writing, I need to stress that there will be NO PAIRINGS with Luffy. None. Keine. Nessuna. Ninguna.

Please, don't cry.

So, you might be asking, "Well, then, what's the point of this then?" Well, dear reader, let me tell you.

I enjoy 'revelation' type scenarios. …And that's pretty much all this is. *EVIL LAUGHTER*

So if you still find yourself interested, despite the lengthy exposition, I'll explain a few more things on the plot itself.

There is none.

As I said three sentences ago this is pretty much a 'revelation' fic, so most of the scenarios will be of various characters finding out Luffy's actually a girl and their reaction to that. Some will stop at that point others will go beyond. I'll explore some canon events through this particular change in circumstance.

But, please, if I ever use the 'OMG I WALKED IN WHILE HE- NO, SHE- WAS IN THE SHOWER' cliché pleasepleaseplease call me out on it. At least nothing that boring. I do have a few bath-related story ideas though.

I will have to get creative on how everyone finds out but most of the time it'll be pretty boring. It's the reaction I'm mostly interested in, after all.

I recently got my request added to one of my favorite fics and let me tell you, I was thrilled! Not that I think this will become people's favorite fic 0.0 just saying…
