The sequel has been made! FusionFall Infinite has been posted!

Now there's a few things I need to address. For one, due to my repulsion to Steven Universe, the sequel in nature is not going to directly center on the show. The sequel will center towards the new FusionFall world formed at the end of the "Multiverse Madness Arc". But I made you all have questions, so I've set up a FAQ.

What's going to happen to Ryker and crew, and will they show up?

I don't intend to give them a case of Sudden Death Sequel Syndrome. Their story is not exactly complete all considering. Yes, I did tie their loose ends concerning the the group dynamic, but there are story threads to be explored. Yes, they will show up in due time.

Are you planning on keeping the Pearls leaders of what's left of the Gem Race?

Blue and Yellow Pearl, for a short while. White, not exactly. Let's be honest, Blue and Yellow would probably prefer to work to get the Gems to be independent. White Pearl, I have a few plans.

What's going to happen to Blue, Yellow, and Pink Diamond now that White's shattered?

Pink is still a member of the CS, but not exactly well-liked. Her friendship and bond with Ryker is pretty much tainted to where they are no longer the best friends they were at the start. Garnet and Jasper both refuse to talk to her. She's pretty much the black sheep with most of the team with the exceptions of Amethyst (has the least reasons to be angry at her), Sadie (who's a black sheep with Lars and can relate), and the Onion family.

Blue and Yellow Diamond's fates. It would be say they were shattered between this and the sequel, but I won't. Basically, they'll be stuck as "Pearls" for the CS. Why? Aside from the obvious things they'll be subjected to, I think it would crush their spirit to see the Gem race begin anew without them. And if you're worried, yes, they are going to be de-powered. Who will gain their abilities? You'll find out soon enough.

Is the Kenji/Ryker/Joshinari clash going to happen?

Definitely. Considering the villainous Blackthorn is hiding out on the planet under everyone's noses, it will happen.

If the sequel is coming, is there going to be side stories or add-ons like SU Blackthorned?

I will try to avoid that. That was my first mistake.

Do you have any final words about Steven Universe Blackthorned?

I'm glad I did it, but I do have some regrets. The whole debacle with Pearl. While I do like Tsubasa and Pearl as a couple, I wish I had not done it out of a bit of anger towards the show. (But let's be honest, Mystery Girl raised red flags for me and others.) Another regret was never getting to do an adaption of the Gem Harvest episode because honestly I could have taken the worse episode and make a mockery of it with ease. Considering who's president now, the jokes I could have made to tear Andy DeMayo a new one would have been blazing. A bigger regret is not spending enough time developing Amethyst. I feel I did her decent, but she could have used more. I am glad it's all over and I can move on to a bigger story.
