Hello again! Here's a really short one-shot that I thought of. I hope you enjoy.

The two colors had always seemed to go together. They had been his favorite, red especially. Blue was added to his list thanks to his little brother. Hiro had been obsessed with that color, and Tadashi had found it calming. He would have never had seen it as calming if Hiro hadn't used it to calm him. Tadashi remember that night clearly. It happened when the two brothers still got along...

Tadashi had been ten, Hiro six. Hiro had seemed practically fearless for a six year old. Tadashi was too for the most part, save for lightning. It reminded him of the night their parents died.

Aunt Cas was sound asleep, but Hiro wasn't. Something wasn't right. He could just sense it. Another flash of lightning streaked across the sky, and he heard it again, just seconds before the rain came pouring down, hail slamming on the window. Lightning flashed and thunder clapped, lighting up the brothers' shared room. Hiro heard the cry again and finally found its source. His brother.

He slid off his bed, his feet softly pattering on the wood floor. He climbed up on his brother's bed, sitting on his knees. Hiro tapped his shoulder, and Tadashi jumped.

"Tadashi? Are you okay?" he asked.

Tadashi froze. He couldn't let his brother see him like this. "Go away Hiro. It's really late, and you need to sleep." he whispered.

He felt Hiro slide off his bed and bit his lip. Hiro was usually super stubborn. Why not this time?

Getting lost in his thoughts, Tadashi didn't hear Hiro coming back. When his shoulder was tapped again, he barely glanced up.

Hiro, seeing he wasn't going to be talked to, held out a small blanket. It was what Tadashi gave him for his birthday two years ago. He never went anywhere without it. It was to small for him now, but still extremely fluffy and soft. Plus, its bright sky blue wasn't faded at all.

"Take this. It helps when you're scared." the young child smiled encouragingly at him.

Tadashi hesitated. "But that's yours."

He merely shrugged. "I know. But you're scared. And I don't like it when you're scared. This helps me when I'm scared, so it should help you." Hiro thruster it in Tadashi's hand.

"Are you sure? I don't want to use it if you aren't."

Hiro nodded and hugged his brother as hard as he could. Tadashi smiled and hugged him back. Both slept soundly that night.

Tadashi could recall that memory in a blink of an eye. The next day, he remember asking Hiro why it helped so much. Hiro had simply answered that the color blue reminded him of his brother. To this very day, Hiro's favorite color was blue. Hiro had used that blanket until he was eleven. The two brothers got in a fight, and Hiro threw the blanket away. Tadashi was hurt when he did, but never said anything. Later that night though, he retrieved the blanket, putting it in a safe place.

Because red and blue would always go together.

And there you go! A short, but fluffy, one-shot. Hope you enjoyed and please review!
