So I know what I said. That I was more active on Ao3. Allow me to tell you all that apologize for that and now realize how sucky that site is. I'm almost ready to delete all of my stories off of there, seeing as they have all been put on here anyway, with the exception of Black and Gold and Broken Wings and Promises. Anywho, this is me, officially saying, I'm back!

My Fandoms: My four main fandoms are Supernatural, Phineas and Ferb, Ranger's Apprentice, and the MCU. But that doesn't mean that's all I'm ever into! Some of the others are Animaniacs, Wild Kratts, Big Hero 6, Cars, The Ultimate Spider-Man, Psych, How to Train Your Dragon, Lucifer, Merlin, Reign, and Toy Story. Random Facts About Me: My favorite color is turquoise. I love almost any song from Fall Out Boy, Imagine Dragons, The Script, Panic! at the Disco, Louise Lately, and Maddie and Tae. My top three favorite movies* are 1. Love, Simon, 2. Spider-Man: Homecoming, and 3. Iron Man 2. *subject to change any minute of the day. I can be very obsessive about certain things. I love to read. Roller derby is my life. I used to own two fish, an Irish Wolfhound, and a mutt dog. The fish were two betas named Dr.Pepper and Cherry Pepsi. I soon found out, I do not do well with fish. Some people say they are big readers. That they're so into books it's not funny. However, the only way to tell is if they 1) gasp when something exciting happens in the book. 2) laugh randomly if something funny happens in the book 3) Start yelling at the book because that's not how they want the book to go. 4) slam the book shut when one of their favorite characters dies then open it again 'cause they still need to know how it ends. Cool, so I ranked them all but why do I put them in this order? Allow me to shine some light on the situation. Be forewarned, however, this is just my opinion and based on my own thoughts. Don't hate me.

22. Honestly, until two months ago, I didn't even know that this movie existed. I knew of the 2003 version, which I own and hate, but I had no clue that this was ever made! Even worse, I don't remember anything about other than the fact that Mark Ruffolo did not play Bruce Banner in this movie. I don't even know who did! So sorry, but The Incredible Hulk gets last on my list.

21. Let's be real. The only reason this isn't last is because of A. The Incredible Hulk took that title and B. Loki. I remember watching this the first time and hating it. When I watched it again, I was more attentive because of Loki and hey, there are actually things going on here that are semi-important like Jane and the aether which holds an infinity stone so yeah. Otherwise, what's the plot again?

20. We have gotten past the two Marvel movies, that I just utterly did not like. Time to tackle Cap's first movie.

Jumping right to the point: REVIEWS. Writers –– all of them, from famous authors to subtle FF writers –– ALL depend on the feedback from our readers. Vision Dominican brought up an interesting albeit tragically true idea:

"Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fanfic writers out there. We at the Institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers.

1) Drop a review of every other chapter. It may not seem like much, but reviews are actually what many of us want to see. That, and hits. Hits do make us happy but we don't really know if people like our story or not.

2) Visit our author page. That kind of hits really makes us happy. It's where we showcase our entourage of friends, beta readers, and stories. Some of us even tidy up with set areas for upcoming story ideas and character bios.

3) Send a personal message. While normally I'd prefer a review, emails are just as good. Really, it warms my heart to communicate with another reader or writer."

What you call being "too lazy to review" is what we call "a flame to the pages" as the writers. That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think...

"Why am I even here…?"

"What's even the point of continuing?"

"My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…"

"I'll never be a good writer...I quit."

These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head –– that go through MY head –– when we put out a chapter/story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word.

If you're not a writer, you have NO IDEA how much that hurts…

If you ARE a writer, then I'm sure you know just how great it feels when someone is kind enough to leave a heartwarming and encouraging review, and you read it, smiling while thinking, "Wow…I did it…"

So, why not give fellow writers the same luxury here?

Too many times I've seen epic and utterly beautiful works of literary art fall to pieces before finally being abandoned due to the terrible discouragement that the lack of reviews can cause.

Sometimes, it is so severe that the very writer himself decides to quit, denying the world his skills of writing that I am sure it would have deeply enjoyed.

So…

Just one minute, that's all it takes. Just a few gentle taps of the fingers on your keyboard, a few seconds or so of your time, and your words can SAVE a writer from a dark demise.

Do me a favor: Go find a story, ANY story, anywhere here on Fanfic, net, and see if you can help it. If it has very little / no reviews at all, just check it out, and say whatever comes to mind.

And enjoy the thought in mind that you could have just SAVED that story, with just a few taps of the keyboard…
