A girl whose hair was as pink as a blush on a face walked up to the memorial rock.

" Hello. " she says.

She lays down a bouquet of cherryblossoms and traces the person's name with her soft fingers.

Obito Uchiha

" Look, I know you may or may not hear me, but my name is Sakura Haruno. " she said as she but one of her bangs behind her ears.

" You're Kaka-sensei's team mate, right? Well I'm his student. He told me all about you. You were so brave. " Sakura continued on and on. Little did she know that the deceased boy, Obito, was listening to her speech.

'Hey... she's one of team 7's members...' Obito thought. He floated over to the right of her. He could see that she, in a way, resembled Rin. He listened and listened to her words until she had nothing more to say.

" Um... I have to go home now. It was nice meeting you. I guess I'll see you later. " she said as she stood up. She took one last glance at Obito's name and walked away. Obito saw a small smile on her face as she walked in the direction she was heading.

Sakura came every once a week, and every time she came Obito would listen to her stories. She would tell him about the things that happened and the news that everyone is talking about.

One day, she came to the memorial looking very forlorn. As usual she told him her stories. Obito found out that her comrade, Sasuke Uchiha, has betrayed Konoha. She said that she tried her best to stop him, but he knoked her out. Obito was so angry at this Sasuke guy for making Sakura cry like that, even if he is an Uchiha. She started to cry and even though she could'nt feel or hear him, he tried to pat her back and say ' Everything is going to be all right. '.

" You know Obito, I always wanted to tell you this. I... like you. When I first saw your picture in Kaka-sensei's room, I thought you would be like Naruto, and I was right. Kakashi told me about how you would be a crybaby and how you liked this girl named Rin. " she said as she stopped crying.

" But even though you were a crybaby and always late all the time, you were a good friend and was very determind, and I respect that. " she continued. Obito's face pinkened as he heard her compliments.

" I just wanted you to know this. " she said. In a flash, Obito quickly pecked her on the lips. Sakura flinched as a stike of cold hit her lip. She sat there for a few seconds and then stood up.

" Good bye, Obito-kun. " she said as she smiled.

" Good bye, Sakura-chan. " Obito replied back as he grinned.
