Warning: Roach is A Woman... and A Lieutenant... If You Don't Like It Don't Read It. Simple As That.

-Five Years Ago-

"Captain MacTavish. The two other squads are here, Sir." The young Private Rook was trying to keep up with his Captain, who was much taller and faster than him, as they made way to the mess hall.

"Calm down lad its not like they are going to kill us on site. Or at least not while Shepherds here." The Scottish man chuckled at the young private who wore a nervous, twitching, face.

It made sense though, Rook's nervousness, today the S.A.S. was going to merge with two other squads, forming an 'unstoppable force' as Shepherd put it. He himself knew little of the two Lieutenants, Simon 'Ghost' Riley and Gary 'Roach' Sanderson.

As they reached the mess hall rain began drizzling. The light played off of the drops creating a complete spectrum in the wind. The S.A.S. had little time to take the lovely picture, as two small squads filled in opposite them.

To the left a group of Americans stood, saluting, in full attention. A blonde woman stood to the side of the line, giving orders to be at ease, before she joined the line herself.

To the right a group of British soldiers, already at ease, stood. One of them wore a baklava with a smiling skull on it, leaving you unable to tell if this was a man or a woman.

"Introductions?" Shepherd's deep commanding voice broke the silence that had settled over the three squads. Soap was to busy looking at the short, blonde woman to notice when his General interred.

"No Volunteers?" the General cleared his through, "Lieutenant Sanderson, if you will."

The blonde woman stepped forward.

"Yessir, I'm Lieutenant Gary Sanderson, but you all can call me Roach." Her voice was sharp and commanding, despite the slight country accent she seemed to carry.

Suddenly the cockroaches that had once disturbed Soap so deeply as a child seemed to carry a beauty with them. As the spectrum of light danced on the blonde hair of the woman standing infront of him.

He stepped up to shake her hand, "MacTavish, Captain John MacTavish."
