After a shaky stroke of a pen across the page, he gingerly makes his way through the hospital entrance and towards the motel on the edge of town.

He arrives and knocks; the face that appears telling him he's found his way home.

Although his brother's words try to convey disapproval at his 'against medical advice' appearance, he sees only comfort, warmth and unconditional love reflected in his eyes.

He eases his exhausted body into the nearest chair and sighs in contentment; the knowledge that no matter what happens, he is right where he is supposed to be.
