Orbiting over the third planet of the Sol system the Justice League's main headquarters, The Watchtower, loomed as the every watching protector, or as other people see it a constant threat.

Inside the satellite locked behind a sealed tight room the founding member of the Justice League along with Green Arrow and Zantana. The mood of the room weighed heavy on the occupants. The decision that was about to be made will have dire consequence for everyone.

The silence was broken by Superman who tapped a few buttons in front of him, "Here's the situation," he said as a holographic display of the state of California came into view. A small red blimp pop over the area of San Francisco and Jump City, "as of this morning Deathstroke the Terminator, aka Slade Wilson, marched his army into Jump City and declared it under his rule. Jump City's population has left for San Francisco where they are being evacuated along with the other city inhabitance."

"Where are the Teen Titans?" Wonder Woman asked, "This is their city why haven't they protect it or better yet called for backup?"

The room was filled with silence before Superman answered, "We have received no word from the Titans," the Man of Steel took a deep breath before continuing, "As of now we are assuming that they have been killed in action."

"YOU DON'T KNOW THAT!" Green Arrow said as he slammed his fist on the table, "Anything could have happened! We shouldn't assume that they are dead."

Batman spoke next, his voice void of emotion, even more so than usual, "Titan's Tower was taken over early this morning, and there were reports of three separate battles happening all over Jump City." The caped crusader's eyes narrowed as the harsh reality he put together crashed into the world. "The evidence shows that the Titans have been defeated, in other words, killed," Batman said.

Green Arrow slumped back into his seat. He didn't want to believe it, he couldn't believe it. Something inside him was telling him that the Titans were alive.

"So what do we do?" asked Wonder Woman.

"We'll send in a small task force to take down Deathstroke and his agents," J'onn J'onzz said as a small blue blimp blinked on the map of Jump City. Green Arrow chimed in again.

"That's not going to work," he said, "Slade is not some punk from the streets that just got lucky. You're going to need a lot more than a few supers to take him down, way more if his agents are anything like him."

"Then what do you suggest?" The Martian Manhunter asked.

"We need an army," Arrow stated, "and just maybe we'll survive."

"A small army?" Flash scoffed, "aren't you overselling this guy just a tad bit?"

Green Arrow snapped his head to the speedster, "You've never fought him."

"This isn't some two-bit gunslinger that though he'll make a good villain. No, he was trained at the age of 16 to be the perfect soldier and that was before he was enhanced. He could take everyone in this room and come out on top. Including you."

"Jeez sorry I asked," the Flash said flippantly.

Hawkgirl leaned forward and said nonchalantly, "Why not use the Watchtower's weapons to blow up the city?"

"Are you out of your mind!?" The Green Lantern John Stewart exclaimed, "Do you have any idea of the ramifications of such actions?!"

"It's better than sitting around and doing nothing!"

Soon the members of the Justice League broke down and argued with each other on what should be done.

"ENOUGH!" Superman roared and the room silenced. "We need to make a decision now. Time is of the essences."

"All in favor of-"

Batman's communicator began to chirp with an incoming communication. The members looked at the dark knight as the chirp continued. "So are you going to answer that?" Flash said.

"Only a very few know how to get a hold of me," Batman said as he reached into his belt and began to attach it to the table so that everyone can hear it. "And most of them are from Gotham."

Superman's eyes widen, "You don't think?"

Batman didn't allow the Man of Steel to finish has he answered the call. "Who is this?"

"Hello to you too," a tired voice answered, "We're fine by the way."

"Robin!" Superman exclaimed, "You're still alive."

"For now," Robin said with a grunt, "Slade's agents really did a number on us. Thankfully Terra managed to save us and bring us to a cave underneath the city." Said geomancer called out her humble answer. "You all owe me big time."

"We're about to gather the League to begin the assault to take back the city. Are there still any civilians there?" Superman asked

"No."

"Good we'll-"

"No, don't take the city back."

Green Lantern stood up, "What!?"

"With all due respect, this is our fight. The city is under our protection and we are the ones that should take it back. We have a plan."

"You'll need all the help you can get especially with one of your own turn traitor."

"He is not a traitor!" Starfire yelled through the comms.

"I don't think he turned on us willingly," Robin cut in.

"Why do you think that? He's the son of Slade," Martian said, "One doesn't turn their back their family."

"Well, we…" Robin was quiet for a moment before he spoke again, "no I did. I pushed him away, cast him out. I turned my back on him when he needed it the most. That is why he's with Slade. A man who is a master manipulator."

"He's a lost cause right now we need to take back the city quickly," Green Lantern dismissed, "Right now we can't show any mercy."

"He didn't give up on me so I'm not about to give up on him."

"We are not going to give up on him," Raven's monotone cut in.

"And if he can't be saved?" Batman said as he rested his head on his hands, "Will you be able to do what needs to be done?"

Robin was quiet for a moment and when he answered it was slow like each word was forced, "If we can't save then…yes, we will do what must be done."

"You have one day." With a simple click, the communication was cut. Green Arrow choose that moment to launch his complaint at the current path that was chosen.

"Batman we can't let them do this by themselves! There just kids!"

"Kids who have face Slade and won. Who have grown into great heroes since they first started. They are something more though…"

"…they are a family."

"What a dick," Beast Boy complained as Robin put away his personal communicator to Batman. The Boy Wonder didn't say anything about the jab instead he began to plan.

Cyborg spoke up next, "I managed to regain some control of the Tower's system, and it seems that one of Slade's agents decided to make himself right at home."

"We need to take back the city," he said, "That means we have to go in hard and fast, no mercy to anyone. Hopefully, that will draw out Slade from his hiding spot."

"What about Sean?" Terra asked.

"He's the enemy now so we have to treat him just like any other criminal."

"But Robin!" Starfire began, "we can't…"

"I don't like this any more than you guys but…" Robin took a deep breath, "We have to in order to help him."

"It's not his fault though," Raven spoke up, "He's being controlled by Slade."

"Do you know how?"

Raven bit her lip before she answered, "…no…not really, but I know he is!"

"Even if that is true we can't hold back."

While Raven tired to convince Robin that what Blitz was doing was not his doing Cyborg began to replay the fight through his mind. In other words, he was playing the recording of the fight. He too thought that the fallen Titan wouldn't willingly fight them. There was a particular part of the fight that rang suspicious to him.

Blitz had them on the ropes. While he and Robin were out of breath and on the ground recovering. Blitz stood there his arms behind his back and breathe only slight accelerated.

"Sean please stop this," Robin said as he stood up, "I know I messed up I'm sorry. I should have trusted you, let you speak, I should have understood."

"Yes you should have," Sean said as he cracked his head to the side, possibly from the punch Cyborg gave him earlier. "But you didn't, and it no longer matters. Surrender now."

It was then the boy tilted his head to the side and muttered something. Cyborg paused the recording and enhanced the audio by eliminated all outside noises and turn up the volume to the max. The cybernetic teen then pressed play.

"-I told you to eliminate them," the all too familiar voice of Slade spoke.

"There is no point," Sean argued, "They are beaten, if we kill them then the entire Justice League will be down our throats in no time."

"Are you questioning my orders?"

"No, I'm trying to tell you the folly of your plan."

Robin chooses this time to leap at Blitz, "Robin No!"

Sean glanced up and quickly pivoted to the side and delivers a heavy punch into Boy Wonder's stomach and a chop into his back. Robin fell to the ground gasping for breath. Cyborg then fired a sonic blast at Sean who spun out of the way while he drew a throwing knife and flung it into Cyborg's cannon before he could change it back. It caused a power backlash that overloaded his systems forcing everything to shut down to protect the core, aka it knocked him out. Unknown to everyone, besides Cyborg, the video and audio still kept recording.

"There, that is why you have to kill them," Slade continued, "they will never stop fighting you know this."

"I still won't do it," Sean said as he moved towards the down Cyborg.

"Fine. You brought this onto yourself. Would you kindly kill them."

"NO!" Sean's body began to convulse as if it was fighting against itself.

It was then Terra and Beast Boy came to the rescue. The green titan in ape form tackled Sean out of the way while Terra created a hole and swallowed them up.

Cyborg rewinded the recording again to the point when Slade gave the order. He then paused the recording and did multiple scans to try to pick something up.

He did.

Slade's last command flared a spot in Sean's brain and upon closer inspection Cyborg was able to find that inside the titan's head was a chip of some kind. It was small almost unnoticeable, but it was there. The size and lack of activity would explain why it never came up on scans.

"Raven is right," Cyborg said, "Sean is being controlled by Slade. There is a small microchip implanted in his mind."

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked to the metallic teen. "Is there any way to disrupt the connection?" Robin asked, "A way to break Slade's hold over him?"

Cyborg shook his head, "Not without removing the chip and that will take time and recourses that we don't have right now."

"Right and the Justice League are giving us one day to defeat Slade."

"Then that means," Starfire said slowly as she and the rest of the Titans came to the same conclusion.

"If we want to save Blitz we have to defeat him and Slade," Raven said as she hid her face underneath her hood. "We can't hold back."

"We have to treat him just like any other villain."

It's been awhile, hasn't it? Yea, sorry about that things has been difficult, timewise. As such I have decided to put this story on hold whether or not its permanent I have yet to decide but I won't be working on this story for a long time. I just have constant writer block when I try to work on this story. So what I'm going to try and do is set this story aside and work on other works. My hope is that by working on something else it will get the juices flowing and I will be able to really push out content, and maybe I just need a break from this story. I'm not leaving this universe though. Some of you know that I was working on a story called Shadow Fox which follows the same character through the Mass Effect Universe. I'm setting that story aside as well but I'm still working on it in a way. I've decided to post another part of that story and continuing on from there. By the time this chapter is posted, I would have already had that story set up.

I also working on a Fairy Tail, another Teen Titan story (Completely different characters) and MLP stories. I hope to have these up soon, they are in the editing phase and writing stage right now.

Sorry for leaving this with a cliffhanger. I know a lot of you will be mad at me for that, and I don't blame you I would be too. At this point, though I'm just pushing something out just to have it out and that's not fair for you. You guys and gals take time out of your day to read my stories and I greatly appreciate that like you wouldn't believe. Some of you have been with me from the beginning.

And to you, much like this story, has a very special place in my heart.

So thank you all for your love and support, and I hope to see you in my other stories.

So this is goodbye

For now...
