I'm ba-ack! And with a really long chapter too. 5,436 words without the AN to be exact. I'm so sorry I haven't been posting, but I'll try to post more often. Life has just been kicking me in the butt. But I worked really hard on this chapter just for you guys. It's the longest chapter I've ever written by 2,000 words. It's like half of my first published story.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter! :P

Monday, June 1, 2015

"We're here!" screams a little kid as the airplane lands in the airport.

"Great," mumbles Sam, "one month of misery starts now."

"We're not there yet," some other little kid yells, "we still have to get on the bus."

It's another one hour ride on the buses but we finally make it to Harriot Lake. The twenty-one year olds go off to their camp, Free Day. Then the five through eleven year olds go off to their camps, Runaway Horse and Wagon Train. The rest of us stay. We are three different camps but during free time we get to go on each others campuses. Finally they let us go to our campus. The fifteen through eighteen year olds go to Ponderosa. Nineteen and twenty year olds go to High Adventure. Sam, Tucker, and I are fourteen so we go with the twelve through fourteen year olds to Meadow Ranch. We are actually the only high schoolers that are stuck with the Jr. Highers and Dash lets us know it.

There are also a lot of other kids at each camp. We brought 50 to Runaway Horse. There are 100 there. We brought 100 to Wagon Train and there are 200 there. We brought 100 to Meadow Ranch and there are 500 there. We brought 200 to Ponderosa and there are 1000 there. We brought 200 to High Adventure and there are 1500 there, and we brought 100 to Free Day and there are 2000 there. In total that's 750 we brought and 5300 at Harriot Lake.

Anyways, now that I bored you with those stats lets get on with the story.

"Right now is free time so feel free to do anything you want!" Mr. Lancer announces to us and we all head off to do what ever we want. Sam, Tucker, and I decide to hang out together (surprise, surprise) and we walk around Meadow Ranch to see what it has to offer. It has a zip line that goes over a lake, a blob (one of those things that you sit on the end and someone launches you into the lake by jumping on the other side), and a rope swing called Noah's Nightmare.

"Wow, what fun," Sam says sarcastically.

"The rope swing could be fun," Tucker says.

"If you don't fall on those sharp rocks on the bottom."

"What about the blob?" Tucker asks.

"If you can make it to the end. It's like 150 feet!"

"The zip line?"

"If the rope doesn't break."

"The rope wouldn't break!"

"Keep telling yourself that."

"Tell her Danny. The rope wouldn't break."

"Huh? Oh, yeah. Whatever," I'm lost in my thoughts. Trying to figure out why anyone would pick us to get sent here is a big mystery!

"Hey, you okay dude?" Tucker asks.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just... doesn't this seem a little suspicious to you?"

"What do you mean?" Tuck asks.

"Well, our school out of all schools got picked to come here to Harriot Lake. Why?"

"Yeah, I know right. That is weird." Sam agrees with me, but Tucker shakes his head.

"Just think. It's like they said. Vacation! No ghosts! We're free! And the sooner we start enjoying it, the better off we will all be," Tucker tells me.

"No, but Tuck, don't you get it? I'm a ghost," I tell him.

"Half ghost," he corrects.

"Whatever, but don't you understand? As long as I'm around there will always be ghosts. There's nothing we can do about it. We can't relax, we have to get ready to fight."

"Listen, the only ghost that is going to be around this summer is you."

"Danny's right, Tucker," Sam butts in. "We have to get ready to fight. We have to be prepared for the unexpected!"

"Well, I'm going to enjoy this month and I'm going to have as much fun as I can even if you guys won't hang out with me. I'm going on the zip line. Have fun fighting the 'ghosts.'" And with that, he walks away.

"You do that!" Sam yells after him in a non-friendly way, clearly getting frustrated with the fact that Tucker doesn't believe her and me. "Come on Danny, let's go."

"Go where?" I ask.

"We need a plan. How else are we going to catch these ghosts? We need to be prepared."

"Well, I brought the thermos and a few other ghost weapons just in case," I tell her.

"Really? So did I!"

"Always helps to be prepared."

"So, what are we going to do? What's our plan in case they come?"

"I don't know, but we need to think of one. And fast."

Suddenly, an old fashion school bell rings.

"What does that mean?" I ask Sam.

"Dinner time!" a staff member yells running past us.

"Where's dinner?" I ask, but the staff member is long gone.

"Just follow the other students," Sam suggests.

So we do that. We follow the 500 students to the cafeteria. Once we get there we have to wait in line until they open the doors. Then we have to wait in line to wash our hands and sanitize. After that we have to look at a list to see where we sit. We have to sit with our cabin, camp rule. That means Sam and I are separated as there are no girls in the guy cabins and vice versa. I'm in a cabin with boys from Amity's middle school and Tucker. Sam is in a cabin with girls from Amity's middle school and this girl named Daniella. Somehow the name sounds familiar...

Sam and I go our separate ways and I take a seat at my cabin's table. Tucker is already there which doesn't surprise me as everyone knows how much he loves food. He is the only one at our table. He refuses to look at me.

"Hey Tucker?" I ask him.

"What?" he answers with a huff.

"Do you know where we go to get our dinner from?" I ask him. He gives me a look as if I just asked the stupidest question in the world.

"Once everyone is at our table, they pick a person to be KP," he tells me.

"What's KP?" I ask him. He grumbles. Must have been another stupid question. How was I supposed to know?

"Kitchen Patrol. That person has to get everyone's food and then they have to stay back and clean up after we eat."

"Oh. How'd you know all that?" I ask.

"I asked a staff member."

"Oh. Of course." We laugh. "Hey, Tucker, I have a question, for, uh, safety reasons." I lower my voice. "Did you bring any ghost weapons?"

"Hey, I'm just going to enjoy my vacation. No ghosts. It's completely ghost free, and you and Sam are not going to bug me about it."

"But, just answer the question. Did you bring any weapons?"

"Let me just enjoy this vacation. There's a lot of cute girls here. We should go looking for a girl friend for each of us after dinner."

"No, I'm good. Thanks for asking."

"What- Why-" Tucker stumbles on his words trying to think of a response, then finally he realizes something and a smile grows across his face. "You like Sam, don't you?"

"What? No, I don't like Sam!" I proclaim nervously. Tucker just sits in his seat, staring at me, a goofy grin on his face.

"You like Sam! Admit it!"

"No, I don't like Sam, I'm just- not ready for a relationship, that's all."

"Uh, huh." Tucker raises his eyebrows and I scrunch up a napkin and throw it at him. Tucker ducks and it hits a girl passing by.

"Sorry!" I call after the girl.

"She's hot!" Tucker says once the girl is out of sight.

"Oh my God, Tucker. Really?"

"Hey, if you're not going to go looking for a girlfriend with me, you should at least come along with me. You can take Sa-am," Tucker says, saying Sam's name in a mocking voice.

"I'm not in love with Sam!" Tucker only raises his eyebrow in response. I'm about to reply when the other boys from our cabin come and sit down at the table with us. They are from Amity's middle school, but Tucker and I don't know any of them because we are from the high school. Our counselor, Mr. Korba, the 8th grade math teacher, takes a seat at the table too.

"Nice to see you two boys again," Mr. Korba says to Tucker and I, as he was our math teacher last year.

"Hello," Tucker and I respond. Great. We're stuck with a math teacher for a month.

"Why don't we go around the table and introduce ourselves?" Mr. Korba asks. "Say your name, age, and the grade you just finished."

"I'm Eric. I'm twelve and in 7th grade," a skinny boy with dirty blonde hair says.

"I'm Cole. I'm thirteen and in 8th grade," a boy with brown hair says.

"I'm Ryan. I'm fourteen and in 8th grade," a boy with black hair says.

"I'm Kevin. I'm fourteen and in 7th grade. I was held back." A boy with black hair.

"I'm Casey. I'm twelve and in 6th grade. He's my twin." Casey points to the boy that is supposed to introduce himself next.

"You didn't have to tell everyone that!" the boy grumbles.

"Ah, ah ah! No sibling rivalry!" Mr. Korba says. "Now, would you please introduce yourself?"

"Fine. I'm Lucas."

"And tells us your age and your grade, please."

"Casey already told you. Does it really need to get said again?"

"Just do it," Mr. Korba says sternly.

"I'm twelve and in 6th grade," Lucas says through gritted teeth. "There. Are you happy?" Mr. Korba chooses to ignore him and we move on.

"I'm Tucker and I'm fourteen and in 9th grade," Tuck says earning some snickers from our group.

"What?" he asks. "Can I control my age?"

"I'm Danny and I'm fourteen and in 9th grade," I say and then put my head down on the table. All these kids are judging us. Sure, Sam, Tucker, and I are the only ones in our High School that are fourteen but we are almost fifteen. My birthday is the day after we get back home from camp, Tuckers is a month after, and Sam's, well, I bet she hates this, but her's is next week. She'll still get to stay in Meadow Ranch with us, but she will get a lot of attention for her birthday and that is exactly what she hates.

"My name," says Mr. Korba, " is Dave. I know you all think of me as Mr. Korba, but let's leave that for school. Out here, you call me Dave."

"Dave? That's a stupid name," Lucas says.

"I'm sorry you feel that way. I just so happen to like my name."

Lucas looks away annoyedly, obviously upset that he can't bug his soon to be teacher.

"Alright, everybody," a staff member says over a microphone to everyone in the dining hall, "take a seat. Welcome to Harriot Lake!" Everyone cheers. Danny stays silent. "It is dinner time!" More cheers and silence from Danny. "But first we are going to tell you about a few things that are happening today. After dinner it's free time but you have to stay in the boundaries of Meadow Ranch. No going of to explore Ponderosa or High Adventure." This earns some grumbles and complaints from the crowd. "You will also notice that the zip line, blob, and Noah's Nightmare aren't open during this time. They are only open during your afternoon free time." More complaints from the crowd. "After free time we will have a meeting in the meeting room. This is mandatory to go to! Do not skip out.

"Now, it is dinner time and that means it is time to pick a KP. Whoever is sitting closest to the salt shaker is KP. KP's go line up and everyone enjoy dinner."

We all turn around to see who is sitting closest to the salt shaker. It's Tucker.

"Tucker can't be KP," I say. "He'll eat all the food before we get any!" Tucker laughs.

"Then who do you suggest to be KP?" Dave asks.

"He can be KP, it was just a warning," I say.

"You know what, how about you go with him?" Dave suggests.

"Okay." And with that Tucker and I leave to go get our cabin it's dinner. We are last in line as our table is the furthest away from the line.

"Darn," Tucker says. "I hope this doesn't mean we won't get as much food as everyone else."

"Hey, maybe they'll give us all the left overs since we are last in line," I reassure him.

"Danny." Someone calls my name from behind me. I turn around.

"Oh, hey Sam," I say.

"Are you really both KP?" she asks.

"Well, Tucker was the closest to the salt shaker and he couldn't go alone or he'd eat all the food. You know Tucker," I tell her. She laughs.

"Sounds about right," she says.

"What took you so long to get in line?" Tucker asks. "Our tables far away but I mean for it to take that long is just another story."

"My table is just so stupid. They are all obsessed with having a girl that is older than them on this trip. They were all fighting over who got to be KP to impress me so I just decided I would take it."

"Wow, Sam, you're popular. How does it feel?" I ask jokingly.

"It sucks! I hate popularity!" Sam yells at the top of her lungs, but no one seems to hear her except for Tucker and me. I laugh.

"I'm afraid you might have to get used to this for a month," I tell her.

"Great, one month of misery continues," she says.

"Hey, at least the girls in you cabin are nice. The boys in our cabin laughed at our age," I tell her.

"I'd take that over have people obsessed with me any day. I can't take all that love and affection!"

"Speaking of love," Tucker says showing a goofy grin. "Danny loves you."

"Dude, no," I tell him. Sam blushes.

"Anyways, everyone in my cabin is here except for Daniella. She doesn't go to a school in Amity, she came to camp as an individual and they're afraid that if she doesn't show up by tonight that they'll have to kick her out of camp."

"What? Why?" I ask.

"Some rule that you have to be here for the first meeting to see all the rules and stuff. I don't know, makes no seance to me."

"Some BS is what it is."

"All I know is it's one less girl in my cabin to worship me."

"But a innocent girl would get kicked out of camp," I tell her.

"Yep. That's the sad part."

"This camp makes no seance," I say. "It's a mess."

"No. We are not starting that up again," says Tucker.

"Okay, fine. Don't believe us." Sam says. Then it's Tucker's and my turn to get our table's food. They give us a salad, chicken strips, tater tots, and cookies.

"See you at free time, Sammy!" Tucker says earning a glare from Sam at the use of the forbidden name.

"It took you guys long enough," Lucas says when we get back to our table. We chose to ignore him. Dave makes sure everyone gets an equal amount of food. The salad goes untouched. I can't help thinking how much Sam would have loved to eat that salad.

After dinner it's free time, but before that, KP's have to stay and clear off their cabin's table. Our table is a mess! Plates are covered with globs of ketchup, mustard, ranch, and BBQ sauce. Drinks of lemonade and Pepsi are mixed and there are salt circles on the table. Tucker and I groan.

"How are we ever going to clean up this mess?" I ask.

"You'll figure something out," said Dave, before leaving to enjoy his free time.

Why don't you bring the plates over to the washing station and I'll bring the cups?" Tucker asked. I agreed. We don't have to wash the dishes, we just have to bring them over and scrape them down or empty them.

After we finally finish clearing off the dishes it's time to wipe down the table.

"Who's idea was it to make salt circles on the table?" Tucker asks.

"Cole's. And then everybody joined in," I remind Tucker.

We wipe all the salt off of the table and then we are finally finished.

"Alright, now we need to find Sam," I tell Tuck.

We look around the dining hall and finally find someone crowded by girls. We head over there.

"Hey Sam," I say, making my way through the girls in Sam's cabin that are watching her clear off the table.

"Oh my God! Is he you boy friend?" one of the girls asks, and they all squeal. Gosh, girls are so annoying.

"No, he is not my boy friend," Sam says. She obviously doesn't want to be around these girls at all.

"Oh, he is so cute though. Why not? He'd make the perfect boy friend!" another girl states.

"Hey, I'm right here you know," Tucker says.

"Ew," a girl says. Tucker looks offended. I give him a pat on the back.

"Okay, I am done and you guys seriously need to leave me alone because I hate attention and I hate this trip and I don't want to make any friends, especially not ones from a middle school. I'm going to be a Sophomore next year. I won't be seeing most of you. And besides, tenth graders don't hang out with Freshmen." After Sam finishes her little monologue she walks out, leaving the Jr. Highers speechless.

"Way to lay down the law," Tucker says.

"Yep. Hopefully they won't be bugging be anymore."

"Don't you think that was a little... harsh?" I ask. It felt like, not bullying, that a bad word, but like rejection. And Sam, Tucker, and I knew what rejection felt like.

"I think that they deserved it," Sam says.

"What if they start being mean to you?" I ask her.

"Anything is better than being worshiped. I hate all the attention."

"But what if-"

"Danny! Enough with the questions!" Sam puts her hand over my lips.

"Ists u lujitumnt kweschin," I say through her hand.

"What?" She takes her hand off my mouth.

"It's a legitimate question," I repeat. She sighs.

"What, Danny?"

"What if you get negative attention?" She takes my thought into consideration.

"What do you mean?"

"What if they all hate you and they all show it. Like they all are being rude to you and stuff?"

"Like bullying?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"I never thought of that."

"Bullying sucks," Tucker says, "but it's not like it's something we're not used to." We walk around in the dark on the Meadow Ranch campus. We make it to the edge leading on to where Ponderosa starts.

"I wish we were in there with everyone in our own grade," Sam says.

"Yeah, but it's nice to get a break from Dash," I tell her.

"Ugg, yeah, and Paulina." Sam shudders.

"Something tells me we won't get a complete break from them," Tuck says. Sam and I nod.

"So, Ponderosa has the main lake and they have a whole bunch of water activities that you can do like canoeing and stuff and they have snack shacks and the General Store, but what does High Adventure have?" Sam asks.

"High Adventure has a high adventure ropes course that you can climb on. You have to pay fifteen dollars for it," Tucker tells us. The school gave us each one hundred dollars to spend at camp. We had to bring more if we wanted it.

"Cool! I actually love climbing and high ropes!" Sam says.

"So," Tucker says, "you'll actually admit that something is fun?"

"Stop it." Sam warns him. Then she turns to me. "What about you, Danny. Will you do the high adventure course with us?"

"Uh, I don't know," I say nervously.

"Oh, come on dude, it's gonna be fun! You'll love it!"

"Why won't you do it?" Sam asks.

"Because, uh, I'm, uh, afraid of- heights," I mumble.

"What? You, Daniel James Fenton are afraid of heights?" Sam asks.

"The town hero?" Tucker adds.

"Well, I'm not afraid of heights, I'm afraid of falling. And I love flying. I always thought that that was fun," I tell them.

"Oh, come on Danny. You have to do high adventure. Please? For me?"

"Uh," I look at her pleading eyes, "okay fine."

"Yay! Thank you Danny!"

"Yeah, yeah."

The bell rings for the second time that day.

"Now what?" I ask.

"Don't you guys ever listen? They said after free time it is time for a meeting," Sam says. We all groan. Time for boredom.

"I hope we don't have to sit with our cabins," Tucker says ask we walk to the meeting room.

"Me too," Sam says. "Those girls are so annoying. They even copied what I ate. I barely got any salad," the vegetarian says.

"I should have brought you our salad. We didn't even touch it," I say.

"No, it's fine. I'll live. My parents don't believe in vegetarians so I'm pretty much used to only getting a small serving to eat. Just thought it might be different here, you know."

"Yeah."

"I heard that in Ponderosa you get to eat where ever you want and take however much food you want to eat," Tucker says.

"From who?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, Tuck. Where are you getting all this information from?" I ask him.

"When you guys got mad at me-"

"Correction, you got mad at us!" Sam interrupts.

"Whatever! I went to the information booth and I read all about all these camps in there. They're a lot of fun. They haven't had a ghost ever! They are never going to have one!" Tucker explains.

"Just remember though, I attract ghosts. Where ever I am a ghost is never far behind," I warn Tucker.

"We'll see," is his response. Sam rolls her eyes, but the three of us know getting in another fight is a bad idea.

We get to the meeting room. They are playing... dubstep? That is not what I expected at all. Apparently Sam and Tucker have the same thoughts but we can't hear each other as we enter. We take a seat. The video screens say we can sit with anyone, so Sam, Tucker, and I take a seat in the back.

When everyone is finally seated a man and a woman get up on stage. Music with great drumbeats starts playing.

"Hello everyone and welcome to Meadow Ranch!" the woman says.

"They welcomed us already," Sam says referring to dinner.

"No. They welcomed us to Harriot Lake. That's different," Tucker says.

"I'm Jacob," the man says.

"And I'm Elsa," the woman says.

"And we are your meeting staff members!" they say together.

"Everyday after dinner and in the morning after cabin clean up time-" there are groans at the mention of cabin clean up time, "-you will come here for a meeting. We with talk about stuff like friendship, bullying, and staying safe," Elsa says.

"We will have a little skit that has to do with each one. But before we get to tonight's skit, let's discuss the rules!"

We watch a video on the video screen of a kid going around and breaking all the rules and no one wants to play with him. Then he gets threatened to get kicked out of camp. So, instead of breaking the rules he decides to enforce them and quickly makes friends. The video makes no seance to me because everyone hates a kid that goes around enforcing the rules. Wait, isn't that what I technically do with ghosts? Enforce the rules? Oh well, that's different, the ghosts could cause serious harm, that kid, well, he's just being an ass.

Anyways, the rules are:

1. No girls in the guys cabin area, no guys in the girls cabin area.

2. No rough housing.

3. No weapons/firecrackers.

4. No alcohol/drugs.

5. No diving in the lake.

6. Have fun.

So far Sam and I were breaking one rule. Maybe two if you count that have fun one. I still couldn't find out if Tucker had any ghost weapons with him.

"If you have any weapons/firecrackers or alcohol/drugs you have until the end of the day to give them to your counselor, no questions asked. If you don't, then when we find them, because trust me, we will find them, you will get kicked out of camp and turned into the police." Sam and I exchange a look. We've been good about hiding our ghost weapons before, but never with this much of a danger over our head.

"What do we do?" Sam mouths.

"I don't know," I mouth back. We have to keep the weapons. The ghosts will come. Eventually. And then everyone will be glad we kept them, you'll see.

We have to head to our cabins for the night now that the meeting is over. I hear music playing in Ponderosa with them not going to bed anytime soon, them being High Schoolers and all. We were told our cabins in meeting. They put our counselors' names on the screen and are cabin name next to it. Tucker and I are in Joseph 1. Sam is in Elencia 2. We go our seperate ways as we don't want to break another rule of going in the wrong cabin area. One rule is enough for the day.

But the only problem with looking for our cabins is there's no map. Well there is, but it's in the information booth that is in Ponderosa. We can't go to Ponderosa. And besides, the information booth is probably closed anyway.

We are also looking in the dark. I mean, there's a light here and there, but Ponderosa gets the most lights as everyday people are allowed there, too, not just the campers.

Finally, we find our cabin. We are the first there. The first thing I notice is there is no lock on the door. The second thing I notice is there is electricity. Phew. The third thing, there are no bathrooms in here. I mean, sure, I'm a guy, but I'm all for having a bathroom in my cabin. The fourth thing is that we have a safe. Probably for storing our phones and stuff, but no way am I putting my cell phone in a safe that I share with six boys I don't even know. It's not like we can use our phones up here anyway. No service.

I grab my luggage off the floor and claim a bottom bunk. They dropped our luggage off at our cabins for us. I'm really suspicious, but to tired to care. I lie down on a bottom bunk (still afraid of falling). Tuck claims the one above me.

"Hey, Tuck," I ask him. Maybe he'll answer me now that he's not mad at me.

"What?"

"Did you bring any ghost weapons with you?"

"Danny, I already told you to drop it. No ghosts are coming!" He tries not to yell so he doesn't attract the attention of the cabin directly next to us. I sigh and give up.

"Fine. Night Tucker."

"You're going to bed right now?"

"Yeah, why not?"

"Just wonderin-" The door opens and in walks the rest of our cabin all at once.

"Where were you guys?" Cole asks.

"Sitting in the back," Danny says.

"Why weren't you siting with us?" asks Kevin.

"They said on the screen we could sit with whom ever we want," I say, using the word whom instead of who to make it sound better to impress Dave so he would just let it go. Maybe it would impress him if he were an English teacher, but he's a math teacher.

"We all sit together in meetings and rec," he tells us. Okay. Good to know, but bad for hanging out with Sam.

"Here," says Dave, "take one." He hands us a little booklet. It says Harriot Lake Meadow Ranch on the cover. Inside is our daily schedule.

10:00 Silence

Bed time? At nine 'o clock? What type of camp was this?

"So right now is cabin time and we are going to talk about today's meeting," Dave says. "What did you guys think of it?" Everyone is silent.

"I thought the rule video was stupid," I finally say after a couple moments of silence.

"Of course you did," Lucas mumbles.

"Yes, but, I was thinking more about our lecture on friendship. Can anyone tell me what it means to be a friend?"

"My little sister is obsessed with this musical called 13 and it has a song called What it Means to be a Friend in it," Eric says. "She sings it all the time."

"So, what does it mean to be a friend?"

"Something about having a crush on a teacher and smoking in your room," Eric replies.

"I don't think that has anything to do with it," Dave says. "Danny," he turns to face me, "what does it mean to be a friend."

"I guess to always be there for each other and back each other up," I say. Everyone snickers.

"Very good, Danny, now who else can-"

Someone enters our room. He is wearing a neon green fanny pack. On it, it says Harriot Lake Meadow Ranch Lead Counselor.

"Hi!" He says. "I'm Nate. I'll be your lead counselor for this month. I'll come and visit you guys every night and if you ever need anything and you happen to see me walking around camp, feel free to come up and ask."

We all stay silent.

"Wow, you're a quiet bunch. Quietest bunch I've seen of the night-"

"So, like, you go to other cabins too? You're not just ours?" Lucas asks.

"Lucas, he isn't ours. We don't own him!" Casey argues. More sibling rivalry. I'm glad I'm not stuck in a cabin with Jazz, we would really argue. Actually, I'm glad I'm not stuck in a cabin with Jazz for quite a few reasons.

"Yeah," Nate laughs. "I go to seven cabins, this is one of them."

"Rip- off," Lucas says. We all ignore him. So, I'll see you guys around. Bedtime is in five minutes. He leaves.

"Lucas, you have to be nicer to people!" Casey says, and we all tune out the argument. I fall asleep.

"I hate Sam," says Brooklyn as I finally find my cabin, Elencia 2. That was the greating I got as I walked in, actually. Danny was right. They hate me. But, hey! It's better than being worshiped! I am not a god.

"Okay," Olivia, my counselor says. She was my 7th grade English teacher. "Now that everyone is here, let's start going over what we learned." I sit as far away as I possibly can from the other girls in my cabin. There's Brooklyn, Merideth, Ellie, Crystal, Quinn, and Katie. Katie is actually the only one who didn't "worship" me. She sits in a corner. I almost feel bad for her, almost. She'll make friends. I know she will. I glance over at her and see that she is writing. Taking notes or writing a story. Oh, well. She'll be fine.

The only girl in my cabin that isn't her yet is Daniella and I am really curious about her. She only has a few more minutes to arrive, though, before they kick her out of camp.

Our lead counselor comes and leaves. Her name is Kathy. She seems more like the popular girl type. Not my style. I don't think I'll get to like her to much.

Nine 'o clock comes around and we all get in bed. Olivia is about to turn out the light when the door opens. A girl with blonde hair, blue eyes, earrings, and popular clothing walks in. She must be Daniella. She'll fit in with the others just fine. But then she glances up at me in shock.

"Sam?" she asks. No? Can it? Can it really be?

"Dani?" I ask back.

So, as I said at the top, I'll try and update more often. Not everyday. Not every week, but maybe like twice a month or so. But hey! That's better than having to wait three years like you had to for this. And I have about 35 stories to work on in between Fan Fiction and Fiction Press. So, I'm sorry this took so long, I really am! I'll understand if your mad, but please, review!
