This little bit of my strange sense of humor was dreamt up especially for Thanksgiving. I hope you enjoy it! And Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

Chi-Chi hummed a merry tune as she put the last of the desserts for Thanksgiving dinner in the oven. The four enormous turkeys she had purchased were roasted to a luscious golden brown. Five pans of her famous bacon and herb dressing were sitting on the kitchen counter. The Ox-King's daughter surveyed the great servings of vegetables she had already placed on the huge dining room table. Buttery corn on the cob, creamy mashed potatoes with gravy, green bean casserole, candied sweet potatoes and of course her father's favorite-creamed spinach.
Six apple and seven pumpkin pies were cooling on the windowsill. Goku's wife carried a gigantic bowl of fried rice over to the table. She mused over the number of people that would soon be gathering for the sumptuous feast.
"Let's see, there's going to be Goku, Gohan and myself. And of course Dad and Krillin will be coming. Oh! I mustn't forget Yamcha! I'm sure he'd much rather eat dinner here than to have to sit across the table from that horrid Vegeta!"
The oven timer went off and Chi-Chi pulled out five lemon meringue and four pecan pies. Four chocolate layer cakes had also finished baking. She set the pies out to cool as she whipped up homemade frosting for the cakes.
By the time Chi-Chi had frosted the cakes, the pies were ready as well. The weary brunette gave a satisfied sigh as she finished placing all the food on the dining room table. Everything was just perfect! Her guests would be arriving soon.
…..
A quick last minute sweep of the house assured her that every room was neat and tidy. Chi-Chi scowled as she caught sight of Gohan.
"Gohan! Why aren't you dressed for dinner?" Chi-Chi screeched.
"Aw, Mom! How come I have to get dressed up just to eat?" Gohan groaned.
"We are having guests for a holiday dinner! Now you march right up to your room, young man. And you put on that adorable suit I bought for you!" Chi-Chi demanded.
"But Mom-m-m," the seven-year-old whined.
"Don't you argue with me, Gohan! You are going to change into that suit this instant! DO YOU HEAR ME?" Chi-Chi bellowed.
Moments later, Gohan entered the living room wearing a navy jacket over a white shirt with a black bowtie and red shorts. White knee socks and gleaming black dress shoes encased his feet.
"I look like a …." the son of Goku began.
"Don't you dare say it!" Chi-Chi warned.
Gohan sighed in defeat.
Just then Goku burst into the room.
"Goku, Did you haul away the trash, stack the wood for the outside tub and…" Chi-Chi started.
"I did EVERYTHING you asked, Chi-Chi," Goku insisted.
'I'll bet some flowers would make a nice centerpiece for the table' Chi-Chi thought as she stepped outside.
"Whew! All that work 's made me hungry!" Goku exclaimed.
"Hey, Chi-Chi! I gonna' grab a little snack okay?" the Earth-raised Saiyan called out.
"That's fine! Just don't spoil your dinner…"
Chi-Chi gasped suddenly. Dinner? He wouldn't, Goku just COULDN'T….
A frantic Chi-Chi raced into her kitchen. She glanced about in absolute horror and disbelief. Empty bowls, pans and platters were stacked in a huge pile in the center of the dining room table. Her lower lip began to quiver. Tears of frustration welled up in her eyes. Not a single crumb remained of the wonderful meal she had spent all day preparing! Unless of course one counted the plate full of glistening turkey bones that were picked clean.
With a loud burp, Goku walked into the kitchen. "That little snack REALLY hit the spot! So, what time's dinner?"
"GOKKUUUUUU!"

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
