"Honor Of A Saiyan's Heart" is FINALLY completed. Thanks so much to everyone who stuck with me and kept reading and reviewing! Especially those who ACTUALLY reviewed! There's nothing more discouraging than a bunch of hits and hardly any reviews not even criticizing ones!

At last count, "Honor Of A Saiyan's Heart" had 49, 557 hits. Wouldn't that have been awesome if they had been reviews? I can dream I guess.

LOTS of new faces or rather new writers on the site. WELCOME EVERYONE! But it makes me sad that so MANY writers AND readers seem to have simply up and disappeared. Out of the 100 odd stories I've kept up with VERY few updates occur.

My pet peeve here is readers that can favorite EVERYTHING but get stingy with reviews. Would it really cause untold agony to give a little heads up on thoughts about the story at least occasionally?

"Turles's Triumph" was put on hold for a bit both due to recovering from a nasty bout with the flu and a bit of disillusionment with reader response. This story's been ongoing off and on due to computer and health issues and due to events in life in general. But I could always count on interaction with my readers. Several years this tale went on and readers stuck with it. That no longer seems the case. "Honor of A Saiyan's Heart" was my very FIRST fanfic I'd hoped to reach 400 reviews before the tale ended. At final count that goal was missed by just 25 reviews. "Turles's Triumph" went over and WAY beyond my expectations. Getting reviews is ALWAYS appreciated and I've done my best to reply in thanks to every review. But I didn't come on this site to rack up piles of reviews I came for the sheer enjoyment of writing and the love of this Fanfic genre. I will still relish and appreciate ANY reviews I receive even if it's just that one loyal reader still hanging in there. Wanna glance at just three words and walk away fine. Want to read EVERY chapter I post and snub that review button? If that makes YOU happy that's fine. Putting out the best update to my ability for tale I'm working on is what makes ME happy! If "Turles's Triumph" isn't the "popular fic" and if readers DON'T churn out 2-3000 that's fine.

I like stories that tell more about the lives of the Saiyans beyond just Frieza and purges. They had to have a life in between that and also before Frieza showed up. I think it's sad that Raditz was killed off so soon, I think his character had a lot of potential. Don't care for stories that make Raditz out as being stupid.

Like stories about Vegeta's childhood and before he came to Earth and GOOD V/B stories. One depressing thing about a LOT of DBZ stories(Especially RADITZ stories) is a lot of absolutely wonderful stories get started but are NEVER completed. A great story that has no ending isn't fair to the reader. I'm guilty of that very thing with "A Saiyan's Revenge" that I hope to correct soon. I wrote and lost my second update almost as soon as it was written several times! Gonna give it another shot soon and sincerely hope to complete it THIS time!

So little is known about Turles so there's plenty of room to get creative!

While I don't care to write yaoi personally, I have seen some OUTSTANDING fics in that genre, so I 'll respect a well written story regardless of what category it falls under. I just may be guilty of skipping over certain sections!

Reviews-It amazes me how many readers NEVER review! A writer puts in a new chapter or story and checks for a response and ... NOTHING! Just scores of hits by folks who don't give the author an inkling of what they thought of the story. That's really discouraging especially for new writers.

No one should expect EVERYONE to enjoy what they write. Constructive criticism should be welcomed but there's no call for being nasty! Thank goodness there ARE good people out there who take a few minutes of their time and give us their opinion.

My personal pet peeve is the reviewer who says 'Awesome chapter! I can't wait for the next one...' And you NEVER hear from them again! They haven't lost their internet or moved to Siberia. You see their reviews all over Fanfic on other stories. It's like ??????? Seriously?
