Sorry for the wait! My mom had foot surgery, I had driving school, my great-uncle had medical issues, my grandma had surgery, I was doing hw until 2am, at my break, and during lunch, I've been looking at colleges, and school has been hell. I've never been so proud of a C in my life… Aquaman seems cheesy in this, but I just automatically imagine him being like Thor in the Avengers…

Jason's POV

"I don't think so." Tim said, staring at the ocean like it was going to violently murder him.

"Come on, Timmy! It's great!" Dick said, nudging him towards the ocean. Tim only took one step.

"Noooo… I can't do this, I can't do this!" Tim turned to walk back up the beach so I grabbed him and ran the few feet into the water, to where it came up to my knees. "Jason, no! Ahh!" Tim yelled as I threw him in. When he came back up, he glared at me and I smirked back.

"Alright, come on." Bruce said, walking in after us with Dick and Damian following behind.

Once we managed to get Tim into open water, he seemed to loosen up. He would swim down to look at some of the coral and plants, before swimming back up to look at us or the fish. He even just swam upside down and enjoyed the sunlight while looking at the pattern it made in the water.

Tim was smart and had Damian take a bag with him to carry any shiny stuff we found. Damian found shells, coins, scales, and a few other things that he put in the bag. We all kept our eyes out for any danger. At one point, a shark swam right at us, but it nudged Tim before swimming off. As time went on and he became more and more comfortable, he began swimming faster, going a few hundred feet in front of us before either waiting or coming back.

Tim swam out further than before, searching the ocean floor for anything interesting when I saw a flash of silver, which headed straight for him. I screamed, but the water altered my voice. Thankfully, Tim heard me enough to turn and the silver thing just cut his arm. He jumped, and began swimming back to us as fast as he could. Another harpoon, which I guess was the silver thing from earlier, was shot at him, but he dodged it. By then, I could make out the hunters, black scuba gear and close to the surface. They were lining up another shot when an orange and green blur and a brown blur swam right past us and headed towards the hunters. Once they reached them and stopped, I could make out Aquaman and Aqualad. "Leave, now, humans! You are hunting my people but we will not give leniency again! Never return or we will make sure that justice is served!" Aquaman yelled, triton held threateningly in his hand. When neither of the hunters moved, Aqualad yelled gibberish and the men were thrown onto their boat by the water.

Tim was shaking and hiding behind Bruce, holding his bleeding arm. Aquaman and Aqualad swam over to us and clearly recognized Tim before recognizing us. "Are you alright, Timothy?" Kaldur asked, kindly.

Tim gave a shaky nod. "One of them just caught my arm. It's not very deep."

"Good." Kaldur said, smiling reassuringly.

"I must say, this is unexpected! Were you born a merperson?" Tim nodded. "Were your parents merpeople?" Tim shook his head no. "Ah. That must have been hard for you, having no one to teach you about this. I hope they were not too harsh… If you would like, Kaldur or I could help you with it or even take you to the land of the merpeople, Moana Honua, and we could find you a teacher." Aquaman offered, voice booming.

"Thank you, but my home is here. If I have any questions, I'll ask you guys, but I want to stay here." Tim said, looking them both in the eye.

"Very well. Be careful and tell us if you have any problems." Aqualad said as he and Aquaman left.

"Let's go back to the house." Bruce said and we all started heading back.

Bruce's POV, An Hour Later

As soon as we got back to the beach, Damian threw a towel over Tim's tail and Jason carried him to the pool. "N-no." Tim said as Jason went to drop him in.

"Tim-" Dick began.

"I-inside. I-I don't want to b-be outside." Tim said, looking terrified.

"Alright. Damian, go start the water." Jason said, carrying Tim towards the house as Damian ran ahead.

"Fill up my bathtub, Damian! He'll be more comfortable there!" I yelled to him, knowing he heard me.

Once we got inside, Tim was still clinging onto Jason, shaking. Jason shot Dick a look and Dick nodded, running up the stairs. By the time we got to my bathroom, the large bathtub was full and Damian was pouring a bit of salt in. He quickly moved out of the way when we came in and Jason set Tim in the tub. Tim relaxed a bit, but not much. "Hey, calm down, alright? We're not going to let anything happen to you, kay?" Jason said, stroking Tim's hair. Tim nodded and relaxed a bit more but still not very much. "You want to talk to him alone, B?" Jason asked in my mind. I gave a small nod. "Tim, we're going to go pickup some seafood, okay? B will be right here." Tim hesitantly nodded and Jason grabbed Damian and Dick before leaving.

"He's right, you know." I said, sitting next to the bathtub. "We're not going to let anyone or anything hurt you."

"What if there's something you can't save me from?" Tim asked, looking scared and frustrated. "What if some hunters find out about me and tell the world? What then?"

"It's up to you. I would proudly say that one of my sons is a merman but, if you didn't want me to, I wouldn't." I replied. Tim looked shocked. "If someone found out about any of you, I would be proud to say that I have a vampire, werewolf, merman, and pixie as my sons. If you told me that you wanted me to deny that you are a merman, I would deny it. It is your life and your choice but I will always be proud to call you son." By that time, Tim looked about ready to cry.

"Thanks, Bruce." He said, hugging me. I didn't even care that he was getting me wet again.
"No, Tim, thank you."

Damian's POV, At The Beach House

I felt slightly nervous and Dick, Jason, and I walked up the stairs, grabbing a shiny hairclip off a flower in a vase. What if Father made it worse? What if Tim got mad? I could not help my smile when we entered Father's room. Tim's voice sounded relaxed and carefree, joking with Father.

"We come bearing food!" Dick yelled, slamming the door open. Father, Tim, and Jason laughed and I felt a small smile curl my lips. I may not have grown up with much of a family, if Mother and Grandfather can even be considered family, but I have one now. And it is crazy.

The End of the main storyline! I'm going to mark this as complete, but I may add oneshots at the end. Thanks for reading!
