Dear Readers,

I apologize if this little note of mine got your hopes of a new chapter up. Apparently, being inactive for three years isn't sign enough that everything here has officially been abandoned and my inbox (and thus email) are flooded with PMs on an almost weekly basis with people asking about updates to my stories. I hate to be the bearer of bad news.

Everything in this account is abandoned. Fully, utterly, abandoned.

No, I am not offering my two on-going stories up for adoption (If you take it without my permission, I WILL know). They're up purely so I have a record to look back on in the future as my writing continues to progress, as through a series of moves, broken laptops and tablets and lost USB's, I've lost all word documents regarding the stories on this account.

My latest laptop, due to financial constraints, isn't capable of holding too many word documents and at the moment what space it has is filled with documents and files for my work. I can't afford a reliable external hard drive large enough to hold all my current stories (which shall likely never get posted) as well as these old ones so, for the time being, they'll stay right here on this site for archival purposes.

For those few of you who questioned after my health, I'm fine. I've finally had my migraines officially diagnosed and am on medication for them so I'm not laid up in bed for days at a time unable to even get out to see to my daily needs and, instead, only suffer the occasional very light migraine that I can ignore. On the other hand, my father has had two strokes in the last five years, a heart attack and a quintuple bi-pass surgery so most of my time not spent working is spent helping my aging mother look after him. She's it as a fiddle, as always, but she tends to overwork herself and rarely listens when anyone tells her to take a break.

Between these things and work, I actually have very little time to write and what I do write isn't up to what I would consider an acceptable standard. I hope you all understand that life eventually does get in the way (especially for soon-to-be 27 year olds with family issues out the ear and a desire to eventually get better income).

I apologize if this note got your hopes up, once again. I greatly appreciate all the loyalty you've shown me and my works since the beginning and wish you well throughout your lives.

Also, as it apparently wasn't clear in the first draft of this letter to you, readers. DO NOT REVIEW. DO NOT MESSAGE ME.

This account is hereby dead. Abandoned. Reviews go into the ether never to be seen except by other reviewers. I will not check. I am changing the email to a dummy account so I don't get any more annoying notifications. And no, getting a USB will NOT in ANY WAY help me. I was kindly reminded by a friend that I lose my house keys on a weekly basis. I'd have a USB for all of a day then lose it. An external hard drive at base cost where I live, is at minimum $100. By the time taxes and medical expenses for my father are paid, food is bought, I barely have enough to afford dinner out at a fast food place once a month. I have enough space on my computer for work documents, and cloud storage for the rest temporarily. It'll have to do.

As it is, Please do not review this, message me, or contact me in any way. Should I one day start posting online again, it certainly won't be here, and it certainly won't be under this name I made when I was in high school and not just a few years from thirty.

Sincerely,

The former Zaraki Hariko
