I've been around for a few years, I just used a guest account to read stories, and AUs where Vanellope snapped from all the bullying and AUs where she's evil are always my favorite and if you ever wish to know why you can always PM me and I'll explain why

Theme: Mars Chocolate Bars/Formula 1

Accent: Brazilian

Line when chosen by the players: "It's hard to lose...when your an impassable wall..."

Appearance: She has pale white skin with red rosy cheeks, bright blue eyes, white hair that drops down to about halfway down her back, her outfit is colored after a Mars wrapper, she wears a black knitted Toque (also known as a beanie or knit-cap) with a white pom-pom and a narrow white brim, a black jacket, she alternates between wearing a red tank top and a yellow tank top under it, she wears a black skirt, black leggings with red horizontal stripes, black shoes with red laces and the bottom of them being yellow and black racing gloves

When racing she wears a black fire retardant Nomex racing suit with a thick red stripe going down each side, she also wears a black shirt, underwear and socks all made of Nomex under it, black racing gloves which also happen to be made from Nomex, these are thinner than the suit itself and are combined with suede leather palms, special ear plugs to block out the noise generated by her kart, black racing boots made of Nomex with very thin soles made of rubber, a black full-face helmet, her visor is tinted and made of a special clear polycarbonate, combining excellent impact protection with flame resistance and excellent visibility, it comes with several transparent tear-off strips attached to the outside, as the visor picks up dirt during the course of the race, she can remove these to clear her vision, she wears a black Balaclavas made of Nomex under it and a black HANS (Head and Neck Support) system

(The HANS (Head and Neck Support) system is secured to the driver's safety belts and connected to the helmet by 2 elastic straps, it's intended to prevent stretching of the vertebrae and to prevent the driver's head from hitting the steering wheel in the event of a crash and Nomex is a flame-resistant meta-aramid material used in all racing suits in F1)

Description: Marcy is modelled after F1 legend Ayrton Senna and her personal favorite Lewis Hamilton.

For her racing skills and raw talent look no further than Senna, but the biggest of his attributes she has is his sheer and often times terrifying determination, once the race starts she let's very little get in her way of atleast finishing in the top 7, she will chase whoever is ahead of her down no matter what condition her kart is in, she never quits and the only way to really stop her is to destroy her kart, like Senna she is one of THE worst racers to go wheel to wheel fighting with like the man himself she is incredibly difficult to overtake, she will make you fight for every inch of ground, it is also impossible to push her beyond her limit like Senna she has none, like Hamilton she's a tenacious racer, has Hamilton's deadly eye for an overtake but comes with a drawback that can prove to be fatal, she lacks patience and is a high risk high reward kind of racer, it leaves her prone to making costly mistakes, but make no doubt about it she is one of the most dangerous racers on the track.

Off the track she is a happy go lucky kind of girl, she's always smiling and has a great sense of humor, though those who get on her bad side might find her bipolar since she can quickly become one of the meanest racers out there.

Special Trait: She's very skilled in Karate and specializes in the use of twin Sai

Likes/Dislikes: She loves racing, going fast, beating her siblings in races (especially Annie), snowboarding, she adores Formula 1 racing and is a giant Lewis Hamilton fan, she loves the Fast and the Furious movies, horror movies such as Friday the 13th and Nightmare on elm street, her favorite band is Bon Jovi, with the songs "It's My Life" and "Livin On Prayer" being by far her favorite.

She dislikes several things, racers who are full of themselves, bullies, loud mouths, reckless drivers, losing and liars being the most prominent.

Kart Description 'The Torpedo': Marcy's most prized possessions

The body of the kart is made of a Mars bar shaped into Ayrton Senna's 1992 McLaren MP4/7A, her steering wheel is made of an Oreo cookie, her seat is made of a two-bite brownie with the back being made of a large marshmallow Fudge brownie, her pedals are made of brown wafers, her wheels are made of Rolo chocolate, her front and rear wings are made of Mars bars, her kart is black with thick red stripes behind and in front of the cockpit, a large yellow 50 rests on both sides of the cockpit.

Personal Powerup: 'Barrage' Is Marcy special, a multi-rocket launcher is mounted on the back of her kart, she fires 5 small and highly explosive missiles either in an arc or parallel to the track, they can obliterate a kart regardless if it is shielded by Cherry Bombs, she has a 50% chance of getting 6 missiles, a 40% chance of getting 7, 30% of getting 8, 20% chance of getting 9 and a 10% chance of getting 10, her multi-rocket launcher can turn a complete 360 degrees, no one is safe once she gets her powerup

Fans: Marcy's fan are anthropomorphic Mars bars, they are die-hard fans of Marcy and enjoy watching her race, they get loud when she wins especially if she beat Annie in a close finish, they reside in a village separate from the main one along with the fans of her siblings, and they can struggle to co-exist especially when arguments about which sibling is better.

Name: Lodhi Crisp

Theme: Coffee Crisp/Formula 1

Age: 8-16 (depends on the story)

Gender: Male

Accent: German

Description: Lodhi is modelled after F1 legend Michael Schumacher and his personal favorite Sebastian Vettel.

He gets his racing skills and gifted talent from Schumacher, along with his blistering pace, he is one if not the fastest racer on the track, he also shares Schumacher's metronomic consistency, he's a consistent front runner and it's one heck of a fight to keep him out of the top positions, he also comes with a strong sense of morality, he never races dirty and will never wreck a another racer on purpose (only exception being knocking them out with his powerup which he considers fair play and part of the race), he knows even in the most desperation situations wrecking others just for a win is wrong, to him it's an empty worthless victory, he's also the most disciplined racer on the track, he reacts quickly to situations, like Vettel he's a good tactician, he knows when to outright attack those ahead to take their position and knows when to be conservative and patient, he's dedicated, no matter the situation he all but refuses to stay down, he's very resilient, he's also good at reading the strategies used by other racers and adjusting accordingly, he can learn someone's strategy and tactics in less than a lap just by observing them, he can also read just about anyone like a book, to put it short, Lodhi isn't the best racer to have directly behind you

Off the track, he's a typical nice guy, he has a great sense of humor, it's rare to see him without a smile, he's actually one of the most caring racers.

He also has a large science lab where he works with 4 assistants, 2 that create/invent medical serums to help with people recover and heal faster (They can create/invent reality defying things), and the other 2 work on features to add to karts to make them go faster and handle better

Special Trait: He's very skilled in Kung Fu and Kendo, he specializes in the use of Twin Swords and a Staff

Likes/Dislikes: He loves racing, being in the lead, beating his siblings (especially Akio and Phipps), he loves Formula 1 racing and is a giant Vettel fanboy, he loves the Fast and the Furious movies, all the Die-Hard movies, his favorite ban is Simple Plan with his favorite songs being "I'm Just a Kid" and "I'd Do Anything"

He dislikes a few things, losing (especially to Akio and Phipps), being lied too and people making fun of the errors in his pronunciation being the only notable things.

Kart Description 'The Red Baron': Lodhi's most prized possession

(Named after one of Schumacher's most famous nicknames 'The Red Baron') The body of the kart is made out of a Coffee Crisp bar shaped into Michael Schumacher's Ferrari F2004, his wheels are made of Rolos, his steering wheel is made of Coffee Crips bars, his pedals are made of wafers, his seat is made of large marshmallows, his front and rear wings are made of Coffee Crisp bars, his whole kart is painted red with a large black 25 on either side of the cockpit.

Personal Powerup: 'Tank' is Lodhi's special, his kart turns into the Panzer VIII Maus (a German super heavy tank that was being developed near the very end of WW2), he becomes impervious to damage, and gets 5-10 shots (depending on the number of laps in the race) with his main gun, and an infinite number shots with his co-axial MG 34, though it'll take 5-10 hits to begin doing any hindering damage to a kart (excluding shots that hit the wheels), but it comes with a drawback, he must use strategically as he can't pick up any other items, he only gets 1 item a race (his tank), also to avoid people abusing the machine gun measures are in place where the gun becomes useless if players begin abusing it, also if he stays in tank form for too long his speed is reduced to half even deactivating the powerup and reactivating it won't bring the speed back.

Fans: Lodhi's fans are anthropomorphic Coffee Crisp bars, they are die-hard fans, nothing pleases them more than watching him owning his brothers all over the track, they are the loudest out of all the fans to the point where they'll drown some of the others out, like the fans of his siblings they struggle to co-exist especially when someone says Akio or Phipps is better than Lodhi.

Name: Phipps Twix

Theme: Twix Chocolate bars/Formula 1

Appearance: He has tanned skin, green eyes, black hair, his outfit is colored after a Twix wrapper, he wears a dark gold baseball cap with a bright red brim, a dark gold jacket with his name stitched in bright red on his right shoulder, he alternates between wearing a bright red long sleeve shirt under his jacket and a light brown t-shirt under it, he also wears dark gold pants, dark gold shoes with the bottom being bright, and bright red racing gloves

Description: Phipps is modelled after F1 legend Alain Prost and his personal favorite Max Verstappen.

He gets his racing skills and gifted talent from Prost, along with his great precision, like Prost he's always calm, cold, collected and every single move he makes is calculated, he's good at reading situations and knows when to make his moves, he makes even the nearly impossible situations look like a cake walk, he drives smoothly and it is nearly impossible to put him out of his comfort zone, he even strives under immense pressure, on the track he also has Verstappen's gung-ho approach to overtaking, he's very courageous and is a huge risk taker (when the situation requires it), he's always ready and eager to fight for the position ahead of him and enjoys defending his position tooth and nail (especially if Lodhi is the one fighting for his position)

Off the track, he's a typical nice guy with a great sense of humor, he's energetic and is one of the friendliest racers

Yet like his siblings if you tick him off he'll make you regret whatever you did to piss him off, his favorite methods being trolling someone during a race using his powerup, or humiliating them off the track with a prank.

Special Trait: He's very skilled in Okinawan Kobudō and specializes in the use of Nunchucks

Likes/Dislikes: He loves racing, putting Lodhi in his place (i.e. beating him in races), being right in the middle of the action, snowboarding, video games, he adores F1 and is a giant Max Verstappen fan, he loves the Fast and the Furious movies, his favorite band is Green Day with the songs "21 Guns" and "Know Your Enemy" being his favorite.

Kart Description 'The Twixter': Phipps most prized possession

The body is a Twix bar shaped into Alain Prost's 1987 McLaren MP 4/3, his wheels are made of Rolos, his steering wheel is made of a Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookie, his pedals are made of yellow Wafers, his seat is made of Rolos with the back being made of a Twix bar, his front and rear wings are made of Twix bars, his kart is dark gold with thick bright red stripe infront of the cockpit and his rear wing being bright red, a large black 31 rests on both sides of the cockpit.

Personal Powerup: 'Explosives' Is Phipps powerup, he gets 10 throwable explosives, he has 3 kinds of explosives, the first kind is an orange ball that explodes on impact, anyone within a 10 kart radius of the blast gets inverse controls for 10 seconds, however Phipps is immune to it, the second kind is a basic impact grenade that can severely damage a kart and knock it out of commission if he hits the engine or the wheels, the third kind is a thermal imploder, it decimates anything within a 5 kart radius and damaging those within a 6-10 kart radius, not even Lodhi's tank can survive at the epicenter of the blast, his tank will be destroyed if he's within the lethal 5 kart radius of the blast, however this one requires much caution as Phipps isn't immune to the blast.

Fans: Phipps fans are anthropomorphic Twix bars, they are die-hard fans, they cheer him on no matter how badly he's doing, they love seeing him beating his brothers (Lodhi and Akio), they tend to boo his rivals (especially Lodhi), like all the fans of the siblings they struggle to co-exist especially if someone says Lodhi is better than Phipps.

Their grandstand is a large dark gold box with Phipps name written on the front in thick bright red letters.

Name: Akio Cookie Dough

Theme: Pillsbury Dough Boy Cookies/Formula 1

Age: 8-16 (depends on the story)

Accent: British (SAS announcer from Call Of Duty Modern Warfare)

Line spoken when chosen by players: "Best way to win...is passing them silently...then hearing their bewildered and surprised voices..."

Appearance: He has lightly tanned skin, brown eyes, blond hair, his outfit consists of a beige baseball cap, a beige jacket with his name stitched in white on his right shoulder, he wears a white long sleeve shirt under his jacket, he wears beige pants, beige shoes with white laces and beige racing gloves

Description: Akio is modelled after F1 legends Juan Manuel Fangio and Nigel Mansell

As far as skills and talent go, he gets that from both legendary racers, like Fangio he's excellent at multi-tasking, he's a quick thinker, clever and very politically astute, meaning he has a great understanding of behaviors and situations and using that knowledge to his advantage, he's always calm and at ease, like Nigel Mansell he's very courageous, determined, he doesn't let anyone get away from him, he's ruthless and spares no one, on the track he holds nothing back and goes all out every race, he's ultra competitive, once he's on your tail he won't back off, once the race starts nothing short of his kart breaking down will stop him from chasing down the leaders, like Mansell he's not afraid of how good the other racers are, it's impossible to intimidate him, any attempts to do so will only fuel his desire to beat the fool who tries

Off the track, he's a quiet fellow, in groups he tends to be silent to the point people might think he's mute, but in one on one conversations he gets more talkative

But like his siblings he doesn't take kindly to being bullied or being look down upon, and if push comes to shove he has no problem throwing the first and last punch.

Special Trait: He's skilled in Kung Fu and specializes in the use of a Staff.

Likes/Dislikes: He loves racing, owning his brothers (Lodhi and Phipps) during races, for some reason or other he loves having close finishes, for him there's no fun winning with a huge lead he loves races that end with the top finishers finishing within a few feet of each other, he loves Formula one yet his favorite current driver remains a mystery, he loves snowboarding, video games, he loves country music his 3 favorite songs being 'That Summer' by Garth Brooks 'Life's A Dance' by John Michael Montgomery and 'The Gambler' by Kenny Rogers

Kart Description 'The Streetfighter': Akio' most prized possession

The Streetfighter: The body of the kart is made of a raw stick of Pillsbury Doughboy cookie dough shaped into Nigel Mansell's Williams FW14B, his steering wheel is made of a Pillsbury Doughboy cookie, his pedals are made of Wafers, his seat is made of a Pillsbury Doughboy cookies with the back being made of Marshmallows, his wheels are made of Pillsbury Doughboy cookies, the top of his kart is colored beige with the sides being white, his front and rear wings are made of yellow wafers painted beige, a large black 60 rests beside both rear wheels

Personal Powerup: 'Mines' Is Akio's special, he gets 5-7 mines that he can either set one at a time, in groups, or all at the same time, they are dispensed out of the back of the kart but Akio can also throw them if he chooses to do so, they destroy whatever drives over them (even Akio himself if he forgot where he put them), but comes with a drawback, they destroy whatever drives over them but that's it, no one else will be affected, those who are right beside the mine when explodes might get shaken up but nothing severe, his mine can be a huge hinderance to Lodhi, if he is not careful and drives over one with his tank it will disable his tank for a long period of time.

Fans: Akio's fan are anthropomorphic Pillsbury Dough Boy cookies and sticks of Cookie Dough, they are die-hard fans, they love watching him race, they go hysterical if makes an epic comeback during a race, they will lose their minds if he beats Lodhi and Phipps in a close finish, they hate the fans of his siblings especially if they say Lodhi and Phipps are better than Akio

Name: Annie Brownie

Theme: Vachon Triple Fudge Brownies and Two-bite Brownies/Formula 1

Gender: Female

Appearance: She has chestnut skin, brown eyes, black hair that drops to about halfway down her back, her normal outfit consists of a brown jacket with her name stitched on her right shoulder, she alternates between wearing a brown tank top and a white t-shirt under it, she wears a brown skirt, brown leggings with black horizontal stripes, brown shoes with white laces, brown racing gloves, and her hat is a large two-bite brownie

Description: Annie is modelled after F1 legend Gilles Villeneuve (considered to be the greatest Canadian driver of all time, even though he only won 6 races in his short career he was considered the fastest and skilled of his time and some even place his name beside the likes of Senna, Prost, Fangio, Schumacher, etc., and even though his son Jacques Villeneuve became Formula One world champion in 1997 Gilles is still considered better)

As said she is only modelled after Villeneuve to bring the cliché (some consider it ironic) that he was blindingly talented and arguably the fastest racing driver the world had ever seen but also madly irresponsible to life, she's one of the fastest drivers on the track (Lodhi and Akio being the only racers faster than her), she is quick thinker and fast on her feet, but as mentioned she is very irresponsible, in desperate and dire situations she can get very reckless, like Villeneuve she comes with fierce determination, she doesn't know the meaning of the word quit, she is the most offensive driver, she's always on the attack, in offensiveness she's in a league of her own, she also drives with Villeneuve's great sensitivity and delicate touch.

Off the track, she has a very reckless behavior, she likes pissing people off for laughs (mostly pissing her enemies and rivals off), and doesn't know where the limit with people are, she's not friendly with those who chose to tick her off

Special Trait: She's very skilled at Judo and prefers to not use weapons

Likes/Dislikes: She loves racing, being in the middle of the action, winning, beating her siblings (especially Marcy who she takes great pride in beating), snowboarding, video games, she loves F1, yet like Akio her favorite driver remains a mystery, her favorite band is Daughtry with her favorite songs being "Long Live Rock and Roll" "Home" and "Wild Heart"

She hates 3 things with a passion, those being losing to Marcy, people criticizing her abilities and people lying to her face.

Kart Description 'The Triple Fudge' Annie's most prized possession

The body of the kart is a Vachon Tripe Fudge brownie shaped into Gilles Villeneuve's 1981 Ferrari 126C, her steering wheel is made of Vachon Triple Fudge brownies, her pedals are made of two-bite brownies, her seat is made of two-bite with the back being a Triple Fudge brownie, her front and rear wings are made of Vachon Triple Fudge brownies, her wheels are made of two-bite brownies, the whole kart is brown with a white 27 on either side of the cockpit

Personal Ability: 'Steal' Unlike her siblings Annie doesn't have a powerup nor can she pick up any items (like Lodhi), that's where her ability comes into play, she has the power to steal another racers powerup, she can only do so once per lap, when she's within 15 karts of a racer their item will appear above her steering wheel (above the racers for the players), once she chooses who's powerup she wants all she does is simply press a button and that powerup will disappear from the racer's item slot and appear in hers, not even personal powerups are safe from her, that's right she can steal Marcy's Barrage, Akio's Mines, Phipps Explosives and even Lodhi's tank, meaning she can really screw Lodhi over if whoever is controlling him isn't careful.

Fans: Annie's fans are anthropomorphic brownies, with the males being Vachon Triple Fudge brownies and the females being Two-Bite brownies, they are die-hard fans and love seeing her beat Marcy

Power: Has Sans power/abilities with slight modifications, he can use telekinesis, bone manipulation (when he gets real pissed the bones will have sharpened edges) and Sans infamous Gaster Blastes which are large skeletal faces that fire powerful beams of energy, aswell as teleport, Jr is a tough opponent in a fight but he can be outlasted since his power tires him out quickly.

Norville: Due to the error made by Kevin and Lucy and using himself to shield his brother he is permanently stuck in skeletal form, he has yellow pupils in his large eye sockets that disappear when he's serious or angered, a dimple smile plastered on his face that only changes when he's feeling a strong sense of anger or sadness in which case the smile will turn to a frown, his outfit consists of a yellow unzipped hoodie over a black t-shirt, yellow shorts with a thin white strip going down each side along with yellow and white sneakers

Power: Like his brother, Norville has Sans power/abilities, however, he’s modified his to the extreme, he’s much stronger and is far more dangerous in a fight than his brother

Like Jr, Norville has telekinesis, bone manipulation and Gaster Blasters to deal damage and pain on people along with teleportation

However he has 2 other abilities that don’t even require him to have even landed a blow

The first is KR which he uses to lower his opponents health and strength by a small amount during the fight, the more blows he lands on an opponent the more the opponent’s health and strength is decreased

His second ability plays on the phrase “You feel your sins crawling on your back” in Sans boss fight in Undertale during a genocide run

As the phrase tells, all the bad deeds/sins of Norville’s opponent will ‘crawl’ on their back, however, it hurts the opponent and weakens them, while also giving them flashes of each deed/sin to make them feel guilty, the more guilt they feel, the more they weaken, Norville uses this ability at the beginning of every battle

Norville unlike Jr, never fights fair, he always makes sure he has the advantage in a fight, if there’s a weak spot/vulnerability he will exploit it

Also he never tires and the more angry he gets the stronger his attacks become

He has 3 stages

stage 1: his pupils disappear and wind blows strongly regardless if he's indoors or not

stage 2: his left eye glows

stage 3: both his eyes glow yellow, at this stage Norville will have one sole goal, to destroy his opponent even if it means ripping them apart piece by piece

However he isn't unbeatable, his power takes a heavy toll on his body and could destroy him or do him severe harm, so those capable of outlasting him have a great chance of success

Christie: She has Crimson red hair, black eyes, wears a black bow in her hair, a crimson red jacket over a black tank top, a crimson red skirt with crimson red leggings, black sneakers with white laces

Powers: She gained the power of her favorite characters Sub-Zero and Scorpion, she controls and manipulates ice with her left hand, and controls and manipulates fire with her right hand, she can teleport always appearing from a ball of fire or a sheet of ice, and has a Kunai that she uses just like Scorpion

Ryan Soft Serve:

Along with Ricky and Martin his code box was mysteriously floating in the game's code until Lucy accidentally activated it, Like his siblings he’s energetic, has a great sense of humor, he has Jr’s obsession with Lego Star Wars, Christie’s fiery approach to racing and Norville’s seriousness in racing, he has pale white skin, brown eyes, short white hair, his colors are from his 2 favorite ice cream flavors which are chocolate and strawberry, he wears a red jacket with brown sleeves, brown pants, red shoes with brown laces, his hat is a scoop of chocolate ice cream with chocolate and strawberry swirls sprouting out of it

Ricky Road:

As Martin and Ryan his code box was floating aimlessly in the game's code, like the other Crisps he’s energetic, always in a happy mood, has Jr’s obsession with Lego Star Wars, but unlike his siblings, when racing he’s the coldest, meanest and you could say cruelest on the track, he has lightly tanned skin, green eyes, short black hair, he wears a brown vest over a black long sleeve shirt, brown pants, brown shoes with white laces, his hat is a large scoop of Rocky Road Ice Cream

Vick Rainbeau Twix: Son of Phipps Twix and Snowanna Rainbeau

Has Rainbow colored hair, a dark gold baseball cap, A dark gold jacket over a rainbow striped t-shirt, dark gold pants with bright red stripes going down the size, along with bright red shoes with rainbow colored laces

Power: His power comes from Raiden, the god of thunder from Mortal kombat, he’s extremely powerful and has complete control over electricity he uses lightning as his weapon, he’s able to fire it as concentrated blasts or torrents. He can also fly, and loves doing one of Raiden’s signature moves which is flying into his opponents and slamming them into walls

Has Purple hair, wears black toque over his purple hair, he’d wear a black jacket over a purple t-shirt, black pants with purple shoes with black laces

Power: His powercomes from Captain America, he has peek human performance, he has agility, strength, speed, endurance, and reaction time superior to any Olympic athlete, he also has Captain America’s unique fighting style in hand to hand combat, his only weapon is Captain America’s signature shield

Sophie: Wears a purple hat just like her mother Citrusella over her bright purple hair, she’d also be wearing a purple jacket over a black long sleeve shirt, a purple skirt with purple leggings, along with purple shoes with white laces

Power: Her power comes from Black Panther, she has his superhumanly acute senses, enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, durability, healing, and reflexes.

Olivia: Wears a beige bow in her beige hair, along with a beige jacket over a brown t-shirt, a beige skirt with a white horizontal stripe around the very bottom of it, beige leggings with brown horizontal stripes, beige shoes with white laces

Power: She has a suit of armor covering her entire body and the back of her head, she has a large visor covering her eyes and forehead, and has a mask covering the bottom half of her face, she has a large blaster canon at the end of her right arm, on her left arm she has a grenade launcher, and flame thrower attach to the bottom

Her armor comes out of her skin and retracts back into it when she's not in combat

Floyd: Has light brown hair with orange eyes, wears a pumpkin hat, wears a bright orange jacket over a white t-shirt, along with brown pants with brown and orange sneakers

He can flash-freeze people and create an ice statue of himself to act as a scapegoat that can flash-freeze opponents, he can teleport through ice and over long distance aslong as wherever he’s going has ice that he can come through

Power: His power comes from Erron Black from mortal kombat X, he’s a mater of firearms, a crack shot with both of his pistols and rifle, as well as a competent hand-to-hand fighter. his marksmanship is so superb, he can ricochet bullets off of coins and other surfaces and effortlessly shoot airborne targets without looking, he also uses bombs filled with sand and sticks of dynamite for added offensive means, he even uses caltrops to control his opponent's movements, he is also competent in swordfighting and is a master of improvising
