Sometimes, among the bandages and candlelight, there is banter and there is angst. This is a series of different fly-on-the-wall conversations between those who find themselves within the four walls of the Infirmary.

This is a Savoy fic and occurs before Athos and Porthos become part of the regiment. I intend it to lead to the formation of the Inseparables. This will be a dark fic in places so please be aware. It will mainly be from the POVs of Aramis and Tréville.

Alternate Season three, set after "A Marriage of Inconvenience." When Rochefort begins sending Musketeers on secret missions to Southern France, Aramis is caught in a dangerous game of assassins and immorality. As his brothers scramble to help him, France inches ever closer to war. In the midst of betrayal and secrets, can Aramis ever return home, or is he lost forever?

An anonymous letter has the inseparables racing across France in a desperate attempt to save one of their comrades and uncover the truth of the crime they are under suspicion of. It is the imprint of others that helps form who we are. For the young marksman, it would be those early years in battle that set the foundation for the man he would become. Set pre-series.

He wondered if being incarcerated in a place where the lunatics were kept would somehow make them insane over time? He could do little else but wonder.' The king commands Aramis to serve as a spy in the Spanish army. Any refusal could cast doubt on his loyalty, so Aramis agrees. Several years pass. Athos, Porthos, and d'Artagnan believe Aramis to be safely hidden away in his monastery…until they capture a group of Spanish soldiers and come face to face with Aramis, who must decide whether to maintain his cover or admit the truth.

When Aramis and Treville set out to investigate a threat against the crown, the mission turns into a battle for survival. A daring rescue is mounted in the hopes to defy the devil and his schemes. Brotherhood and H/C.

Aramis and d'Artagnan find themselves in dire straits; alone and unsure of their futures. But as each one learns the definition of torture, one of them also learns about himself.

Caught off guard and captured, the four Musketeers struggle to thwart a Spanish nobleman's vow for retribution against one of their own. Determined to claim his blood debt, their foe will stop at nothing to reveal the identity of the one responsible, and as the brother's close ranks to protect Aramis, the Spaniard's games become increasingly cruel and soon threaten all their lives.

Aramis is condemned for a crime he didn't commit.

The Inseparables ride to retrieve Aramis from the abbey, only to find he is not there. Obviously, Aramis never reached Douai at all. Despite knowing there's something amiss, they have to return to Paris without their fourth. Do they have to go to war without their brother or will they be able to search and find him in time? Meanwhile, Aramis is on the verge of losing his life...

An alternative ending to 2x10. Having come face to face with the Musketeers, injured and desperate, Rochefort decides to surrender, to stand trial. Will he face certain death, or will his lies somehow save his neck from the executioner's block? And will Aramis and Anne manage to escape unscathed?

Tag to Emilie (2x04). What if Aramis hadn't been so nicely treated when he went to Emilie's camp? Emilie is less clear with her instructions and some of her more zealous followers decide to take things into their own hands with Aramis.

When the king's delegation to a province is ambushed on the road it leads the musketeers on a quest to find the man who would attack a king, terrorise villages and murder their brothers.
