Things feel pretty hopeless when your life feels like the plot of some anime. (Part of her is thankful that, at least it's a good story.) Mikumo Mori seems to just have the worst of luck, sucks that she was the one swapped in for a main character, huh? (Or is it Osamu's bad luck? Did she inherit it? The curse of the main character?)

Despite all the odds, they've found each other again. They don't have the full picture, only bits and pieces of random memories, but they know the connection they have with each other is special. Problem now is figuring out the rest of the puzzle while making sure their friends don't think they're crazy. (I guess this is fluff; idk I've never done this before)

While taking a summer college class in Japan, Kurisu finds a library book with a phone number written in by a self-proclaimed "mad scientist". Curiosity gets the best of her, and she finds something interesting about Okabe (or "Kyouma" as he insists), and his friends. She definitely doesn't like him. Not like that! ...Right?

The end of the book leaves us with a lot of questions. How does he cope with Mars? How does he reconnect with the crew on the way home? How does he return to normalcy? No slash. No sex at all. PTSD, anxiety, and lots of wiseass remarks.
