Update -5/25/10-

It's hard to believe I've been writing (or not writing, as things stand right now) for so long. It doesn't seem like that much time has passed, but apparently it has. My latest fic has been in the works for two YEARS, which makes me quite nauseous, although I do have the good excuse of a toddler and nursing school to completely wipe my brain free of anything but kid stuff, medical stuff, and the need for large quantities of caffeine. It makes me sad that I have utter and total writer's block due to this right now, but hopefully, if anyone still reads anything of mine and manages to see this, maybe, just maybe, I can get my brain unjammed and un-tired before too much time continues to pass. As always, thanks to anyone who reads any of my stories or wanders onto my profile! :-)

Hello one and all, I'm new to writing fanfiction, though I have been reading it for a few years. Finally I've decided to take my own stab at it, so forgive me if it turns out to be slow and painful. If it gives anyone even a little entertainment then...yay! My writing/updating may not be the quickest, but bear with me as I have a lot on my plate at the moment...but I will try to be as timely as possible should anyone enjoy my ramblings. Remember everyone, these are my first attempts, and constructive criticism is welcome. Please be gentle when reviewing and keep an open mind, if you leave flames, well then, phooey on you! ...Thanks to anyone who is interested in my humble work! I really would like reviews from the people who read, so I'll know if anyone is enjoying what I write, and also for suggestions or whether I should keep writing at all. So, thanks to any reviewers I might have. Also, if anyone wants to offer suggestions on what I could do with my current stories to make them better, that would be great too. ;-)

Current Stories

Self Sacrifice Oneshot take on what Mrs. Higurashi's thoughts are on Kagome's adventures, she seems to be really understanding and supportive, so I came up with what her feelings toward her children are, because lets face it, most parents wouldn't be that easygoing about it:-)

Legacy of Emptiness Everyone knows that what happens in childhood basically shapes who we are as adults. I thought I'd do some speculatin' on what Sesshomaru's childhood may have been like to cause him to cover up the feelings he obviously has positive and negative, based on the limited portrayal of his parents in the manga/anime. Will be multi-chapter, hopefully will be updated relatively often.

Deepest Emotions Since Kagome and Inuyasha's feelings arent' really explored that much in the show, I decided to flesh them out a little more. It's obvious that they're pretty close to one another even though they argue a lot so I thought I'd have them think about what their feelings really are for one another, even if they don't show it.

First Alliances Reaching back into Inuyasha's father's childhood and family to another human and demon couple, and his first encounters with humanity and his subsequent compassion for humans. Could be construed as AU, everyone but Inuyash's father are people I made up pretty much.

Bleeding Into Gray One shot fic on Yusuke and Keiko's feelings for each other for both points of view. A peek into the more uncertain side of their relationship.

Redeeming Paths Sort of a sequel to First Alliances, in which Inuyasha in the group run into a cousin he didn't know he had, and both explore and come to terms with their half demon nature as a result.

The Shadow's Reach A look into Mugen's origins and past, and the events that could have shaped him into being the guarded, damaged, and yet slightly honorable character we know from Samurai Champloo. --I've been writing this story for a long time, and I WILL finish it eventually, I don't care if I'm 40 :)
