Suilad! I'm Imbecamiel, more commonly known in fanfic circles as "Nefhiriel's sister". I edit all of her stories, so if anyone's wondering, yes, all mistakes you find there are my fault. -g-

If anyone cares to know about me, here are a few basic facts: I'm a Christian. I'm twenty. I was homeschooled from kindergarten through highschool, and will most likely be continuing to learn from home, taking online college courses - when I get my act together enough to decide exactly what classes I'd like to take, that is. I live in the Midwestern United States, in a beautiful house in the middle of the woods, with our very own lovely lake, on the property we've named "Ithilien". It's also known as the "home for confused animals". I've got one ditzy parakeet, named Pippin, who likes cats and has been known to growl at our huge dog when he gets too close. I've got a black Flat-coated retriever, named Strider, who's sweet enough to let the bird boss him around, thinks he's a cat, has taken up sitting in our laps and attempting to purr (though it sounds more like a growl to most people), and recently adopted two kittens. So, the newest members of our family are Elladan and Elrohir, the mischief-making twin black kittens, who have decided that since Strider's adopted them, that makes them puppies. Hmm, and here I thought you couldn't teach cats tricks...

I've always loved books, and spent nearly every spare moment reading. Up until about five years ago, however, I thought I absolutely loathed writing, and everything to do with it. Then I discovered fanfiction... Now I like writing well enough, and I've also discovered my new passion - editing. Yeah, most people think I'm insane, but I really do love to edit. So, I've been working as an editor for several years now, and am currently doing freelance work, in addition to working for TEACH magazine.

As for my writing, thus far all the fanfiction I've done has been Lord of the Rings. Given the wide variety of fandoms I'm into, chances are that someday I'll decide to write something in another one, but the majority of what I write will most likely be LOTR. One thing you can be sure of - you won't find any slash or smut in my stories.
